Considering it snowed here this past weekend I'm feeling very justified in still having up my winter art, even though it's technically March (and can you freaking believe it is March already?!). Two things making my Monday better are 1) I've got a short work week (☀️🌴 here I come...) and 2) this softest new rug in my life from @the_citizenry (you know I can't resist their new collections)! A few posts back so many of you said you'd like to see a mix of pink and blue in our home and you guys were right, love this color combo!
P.S. My friend Erin has this same rug in black and I love that version too!

While working on purging our basement I came across this rug. It's the rug that used to be in our bedroom (before we bought the replacement) that had epoxy spilled on half of it during our bathroom remodel. I brought it upstairs, folded it in half, and boom, it's a runner. And this is a story about how you can be both a house purger and hoarder. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi friends, I've missed you! Today is the first day I've been semi-motivated for house projects in a while so figured today is as good of a day as any to get back on IG. But now that the ideas have started, they just aren't stopping! Upside = motivation. Downside = wanting to make over every room in my house simultaneously. Obviously that isn't going to happen. So I'm starting small by switching things around - pillows, side tables, art, etc. I've also been purging like crazy so it's fun to shop my house and only find things I really love.
P.S. Thanks so much to everyone who reached out asking where I've been for the past few weeks. Mostly having too much real life fun to spend time on my phone, so all is good! Happy new year!

Not everything this season has to shout "Christmas!!" - sometimes it's nice just to say "winter" which is exactly what I did when I made the first change in my dining room in years by switching up all the art and creating this winter gallery wall all with art from @minted! Today on the blog (#linkinbio) I'm sharing all about it and my go-to method for creating an easy gallery wall - seriously, I didn't even use a tape measure for this! Best part is I can keep this art up long after December, unlike all the rest of my holiday decor which has a strict removal date of 12/26 (because once Christmas is over, I'm over it!). My favorite piece is the one in the middle, which was the starting point for this gallery wall - which one is your favorite??

Do you guys do entirely new holiday decorations every year or stick with the tried and true? I keep a lot of the basics the same but love adding a few new things or some new colors to the mix. Last year I bought these bottle brush trees and I still love them as much this year. They’re just so happy! I noticed the colors for sale this year aren’t quite as bright but they sure still are fun. And PSA, best prices/options I’ve found are at Target – a few of these are from the dollar spot!
