The January Nordstrom6 Drop is a collection of classic pieces a group of pro stylists put together!

I stopped in Nordstrom to see what’s new and found some beautiful pieces that will take you from the boardroom to brunch.
I brought along some pieces from the Nordstrom6 Drop and had fun styling them with navy, olive, dark denim and more.
I’ve got a little extra holiday fluff on me so I sized up to a 6 in the Veronica Beard pants and vest and Cinq a Sept dress. Everything else is a small, true to size.

When a sweatshirt and a lace blouse have a baby, it looks like this. Not your average sweatshirt. Dress up your jeans or wear with a skirt, trousers. Lace is all the rage. True to size. P.S. the jeans have stretch, true to size.

The cutest. Cinq a Sept does this little cropped puff sleeve jacket every season because everyone loves it! The buttons are absolutely beautiful, makes this jacket extra special. Wear it open. Wear it closed. True to size and I love dressing it down with jeans, but of course it’s perfect for work or church or all the fancy places you will go.

I bet you can tell from my stance how this dark denim duo from Veronica Beard made me feel. Tall. Tall and lean and sexy, I daresay. I sized up to a 6, because my body sized up over the holidays 😂. These pieces have stretch. If you are exceptionally busty this may pull across the chest like any button up. There’s always the option of adding a snap between buttons where it pulls. Loving this dark denim head to toe look that you can break apart and create so many other outfits.

Wow. Just…wow. Please add some olive green to your closet this season. Give black a rest. This ribbed knit dress exceeded my expectations. You may want to Spanx her; she is true to size.

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this Farm Rio skirt (that is on sale) and it did not disappoint! This is timeless and the details are gorgeous! Because it is full and bold I paired it with a simple fitted top in a rich, mahogany shade and a pair of cognac suede pumps from Veronica Beard. Everything is true to size and I’m wearing a small.

This dress made me feel like a million dollars! Wear this to work or dress it up for a cocktail party. It’s timeless and a beautiful feminine cut. If you’re especially busty, it could be a little tight across the chest. Otherwise, you can just put a snap there if you’re more comfortable. I sized up to a six in this Cinq a Sept designer piece.
