When I do mitered corners I always secure the two pieces together. Notice how I pin the trim into the wall, then fire a nail under the trim and up into the other piece? And then on the side of the trim going into the other one? Keeps it tight. Tap if this

Simple trick to save for your next project!

There’s a ton of ways you can do this. I made perfectly taped boxes so I could visualize AND get my measurements done at the same time. Now I just marked each corner, remove the tape, and add my pieces. Notice the spacer trick? Also using a pin nailer so there’s no holes to fill. At the corners I nail into the wall and then from the side and the top/bottom to connect the trim pieces together for a tight mitered joint. Luckily this is laying pretty flush on the wall so I won’t need to caulk in most spots, either! 🥹😮‍💨🙏🏻 HOLD TO READ
