Are we still working on our garage organization project over here? Yes. 😅 Is it close to being finished? Also yes! 🙌🏼 But in the meantime, I wanted to share this power tool organizer I snagged to get all of ours (and their batteries) off of the top our deep freezer. To say I got tired of moving them is an understatement. 😜

This is under $50, took 15 minutes to build and hang, and cleared up so much of our garage clutter! If you’re working on organizing your garage, I highly recommend. It would make a great Father’s Day gift, too, if you plan ahead for stuff like that. 😉

This Costco home organization find is too good not to share! I’m sure pricing varies by location, but I snagged this 24 piece set of heavy duty, Velcro storage straps for $9.99. 🤯 These are great for tidying up and storing all types of items - extensions cords, ladders, appliances, etc. We’re using them in our garage, where we’re working on getting a bunch of stuff mounted on our walls to free up floor space.

Here’s a home organization idea for small spaces, areas where you don’t have wall space, or those who rent and can’t mount things! It’s an over-the-door broom organizer. Organizing deep drawers is made SO much easier with these 8-inch tall drawer dividers! They are a splurge, but worth it IMO if you’re constantly having to reset the deep drawers all around your home. Even Dane was thrilled when I showed him these, haha! We have several deep bedroom drawers, and we’ve struggled for years with keeping them tidy - not anymore. Operation basement organization is ON, and one of the first things on my agenda was to find a way to get these random cleaning supplies off the floor. This organized bathroom cabinet setup has already been so much more functional for me! And it’s much easier to keep clean, too, because all of the organizers I used allow the contents to stand upright without toppling over (unlike the black organizer shown at the beginning). 👏🏼✨

If you want to organize your home and/or organize your life in 2025, here are some AFFORDABLE organization products (like $1, $3, and $5!!) I stumbled upon this weekend in the Bullseye Area at Target.🎯🙌🏼

I didn’t want to be annoying and video everything, haha, but here’s a list of what they had off the top of my head. ⬇️

REMEMBER: You do not NEED any of these things to have an organized home or life. But if you think any of these tools will help you, for whatever reason, I wanted to share. Especially since they’re so budget friendly!! 👏🏼

• Felt Bins: Multiple sizes and shapes
• Weekly Calendars: The magnetic kind as well as the kind that screw into the wall.
• To Do Lists: The magnetic kind as well as the kind that screw into the wall.
• Sheet Organizers for all sizes
• Small Acrylic Drawer or Desk Organizers
• Ziplock Bag Organizers
• Organizers for things like Aluminum Foil and Parchment Paper
• Small Acrylic Organizers with Removable Dividers (It said Tea Organizer on it, but I’m going to use it for the card games we have.)
• Lazy Susans: The kind with the dividers and the kind without them.
• Glass Salad Shakers: With a container for dressing built into the lid!
• Glass Bowls with Spoons: Great for overnight oats prep
• Glass Spray Bottles: Great for mixing cleaning products. They also sold labels that go around the bottles separately!
• Glass Bottles for Laundry Detergent
• Drier Sheet Boxes for the Laundry Room
• Plastic Bin Labels: The kind that slide over the rim of the bin. These would be goof for the felt bins they had!

These are our storage bins of choice! We’ve tried the viral Costco storage containers for our garage organization, and 2 years later we feel they were a total waste of money. We’ve had these Hefty organization bins from Target for years now (some of them from 2 moves ago!) and they’ve held up way better. I just bought more for our basement. Stock is very limited and they are more expensive than the Costco bins, but definitely worth the splurge if you can swing it. I found some at Lowe’s that are on sale so I’m linking here too.

I think it’s safe to say you guys are into affordable organizers. 🤭 Specially Target organization products from the Bullseye Zone. 🎯 THAT SAID, I wanted to share an idea for these $3 acrylic organizers I had featured in my recent viral reel.

These are supposed to be for tea, which is a good idea. But I also think they’re great for protein bars! Whether you store yours in a pantry or cabinet, they make it easier to see the variety you have on hand. They also make bars super easy to grab. AND they stack, so you can take advantage of vertical space. 🙌🏼

Since we finally (🙌🏼‼️) decluttered our basement, I’ve been moving the kids’ toys and activities down there. We want that to be their primary play space. With that has come some reorganization, so today I started tackling art supplies and activities! 🎨👦🏻👧🏻

I liked these bins from DT because they were decent quality and super affordable - $5 (big one) and $1.25 (little ones). They’re great for things like coloring and activity books, sketch pads, markers, crayons, etc. I also liked that I could fit the smaller ones in the big one to condense everything and save space. 🙌🏼

So often I hear people say that they want to organize their home, but they don’t really want to spend a ton of money. I hope this goes to show that you don’t have to spend much! There are some great options out there that can do the job for just a few bucks. 👏🏼

Here’s a nursery storage tip for you - if you’re going to buy a diaper caddy, get one with dividers on the inside and pockets on the outside! It allows you to separate big items and little items, so you can find things faster and put them away more quickly. It also keeps the bin from becoming cluttered when you’re in a hurry. I found this trapezoid bin on Amazon and I love it for storing little blankets, toys, towels, etc. in Wesley’s room. Organizing closets with wire shelving can be tough, but these help to contain items and ensure things do not fall through the cracks. These would be great for clothing, too, so the lines from the wire shelving do not embed into them.

There are so many benefits to outfit planning, but these are my top ones!

1️⃣ Everyone is on the same page, so anyone can help get the kids appropriately dressed for what the day has in store. And they can do so quickly.

2️⃣ You’re forced to stay on top of laundry during the week, so everything can be ready to go on Sunday by outfit planning time. And if you don’t, when you go to plan you’ll be quickly reminded that you have to throw on a few loads. Better to know then than to find out on a busy weekday morning.

3️⃣ Instead of having to think through outfits 7 times, you only have to think through them once! With everything on our mama minds at all times, it’s nice to have one less thing to worry about 6 days a week.

I got sick of the small organizers in our junk drawer and bathroom drawers constantly shifting, so I searched for a solution and stumbled upon this! 👏🏼 Technically it’s designed to keep knick knacks on shelves and tables during an earthquake, but it works perfectly for this too!

🚨 FYI: I ended up putting a large glob of this stuff in the middle of each of my bins. There was a bit of trial and error involved to figure out the right size. You can also put smaller globs on all 4 corners. Just be sure to press down into the drawer for a solid 30 seconds, and note that it can take up to 24 hours for the gel to fully grip.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared our modern playroom before, so here it is! When we got pregnant with Luca, we decided to transform my old office into a play space. Just because it’s on the main floor of our home, where we spend the most time. However, we wanted to make sure it didn’t look like a playroom because it’s also the entryway to our home - the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. So we got this giant sideboard to store books and toys in! It’s such a beautiful, functional piece. And since it’s distressed already we’re not overly concerned about it getting scratched up. It already has some scratches, and unless you know where to look you can’t even tell. We bought it locally, but Pottery Barn and some other retailers also sell it so linking here! Here’s a medicine cabinet organization idea from today’s little kitchen project! I liked that this organizer leverages vertical space and has adjustable shelves so you can customize it to your needs. It was super easy to set up, and it just looks so much cleaner than what we had before - a bunch of little bins with everything piled in them. Toy organization (and decluttering, just don’t tell my hoarder son 🤪) are on my to-do list this week! Today I started with rehoming finger puppets, flash cards, puzzles, games, and so much more - moving them all from a bottomless basket of stuff into their own mesh zipper storage pouch. Now things can stay grouped together, and I can focus on having Luca play with just a few things at a time (vs. every single thing in that bottomless toy bucket I mentioned, haha). Anyone else over kitchen counter clutter?! 😅 I swear, the second I clear everything off something else magically appears. 🙃 So I put the this door organizer on the door in our mud room, which is right next to our kitchen. If something ends up on my clean counters, I put it in the owners “cubby”! This helps me to quickly declutter, and it gives these items a temporary home until there’s time to put them where they actually belong. It’s a win/win for everyone! 👏🏼

As we’ve been decluttering and reorganizing our basement, I’ve been upgrading some of our storage solutions - that includes our Christmas decor organizers! I love these ornament boxes, wreath bags, garland bags, and Christmas tree bags I found in Amazon because they’re super sturdy and protective (way better than the random, weathered cardboard boxes we’d been using, lol). I also love that they’re red - it’ll be quick and easy to identify what’s Christmas decor when it’s time to pull it all out.
