I’ve been eyeing this positive reinforcement reward system from Amazon and finally decided to snag it for Luca. We’ve been using a different toddler reward chart for him, but I like that this one gives him something tangible (the star tokens) to earn vs. us just marking a chart with dry erase marker. I feel like it’ll be more exciting for him, as will the visual of filling the jar to the top! I’ll report back, but if you want to snag it I’m linking here along with the vinyl letters I used to personalize it.

This Costco home organization find is too good not to share! I’m sure pricing varies by location, but I snagged this 24 piece set of heavy duty, Velcro storage straps for $9.99. 🤯 These are great for tidying up and storing all types of items - extensions cords, ladders, appliances, etc. We’re using them in our garage, where we’re working on getting a bunch of stuff mounted on our walls to free up floor space.

Today we started decluttering and organizing our garage! 👏🏼 This isn’t just a spring cleaning project, it’s a project I’ve been dreaming of doing for YEARS. Our garage is small, and it gets messy so so quickly. So we’re finally investing a bit in storage cabinets, garage shelves, and other items to make it more functional (and easier to keep clean!! 😮‍💨).

I knew we had a ton of random little tools, nails, screws, command strips, etc. thrown around Dane’s tookbox, so I snagged this organizer off Amazon to house all of it. You can mount this on a wall, but we plan to put it in the rolling garage cabinet we bought. I’ll link both here along with some of the other garage organizers we plan to try.

Operation basement organization is ON, and one of the first things on my agenda was to find a way to get these random cleaning supplies off the floor. They’re constantly falling over and creating more of a mess than what it’s worth. 🙃 I didn’t have wall space to mount them on, so I found this over the door organizer for mops, brooms, etc. - and it worked like a charm! 👏🏼 This is great for organizing small spaces, or any space where you want to free up floor space. These 5-ingredient protein pancake muffins have been a HUGE hit at our house lately! 🤤 When I say our toddlers devour them, I mean it. I’ve made 4 dozen over the past 3 weeks, haha. 🤭 Obviously, Dane and I have eaten some of those. But the kids have definitely put a dent in them!! 🙃

If you want to make them, too, here’s the recipe.

➡️ SAVE this post so you don’t lose it!!

Preheat:
- Your oven to 400 F

On your stovetop, brown and cool:
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage in a skillet  (So far we’ve tried chicken breakfast sausage and pork breakfast sausage. We prefer the pork. I’ve been wanting to try turkey sausage, but the one we typically buy has not been in stock lately. I’ll report back when we’re finally able to buy some!)

In a bowl, mix:
- 2 cups Kodiak pancake mix (The plain buttermilk one.)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1.5 cups water

Add:
- The cooled sausage into the bowl with the batter. Stir to evenly combine.

Pour:
- The completed batter evenly into a greased muffin pan (I use and Avocado Oil spray that works perfectly.)

Bake:
- The muffins for 15 minutes (Or until you can pull a clean toothpick out of them.)

Cool + enjoy! I hope you love them as much as we do. 🫶🏼

If you’re looking for some classic spring dresses for your spring capsule wardrobe, here are some great options I found at Target for under $40! And today they’re all 25% off, which makes them all under $30! 🤯

Here’s what I love about them:
• They’re timeless - so you’ll actually want to wear them next year and for years to come.
• You can wear a regular bra with them - I avoid strapless bras at all costs since I’m on the busty side (34DDD).
• They’re petite friendly - I’m only 5’1, so a short girly for sure.
• You can get all 3 for under $100 today! 🤯

What I don’t love, but can deal with:
• The white and cream dresses are a bit see through, which is why I wore a slip underneath.
• The white was hard to steam, so it’s a bit wrinkly. I’ll try an iron next time.

What you need to know:
• The white dress runs big. I sized down one size to an XS. The other two are true to size. I’m in smalls.

Here’s a toddler travel hack that doesn’t cost a lot of money or take up a bunch of space in your carry on bag!

We bought these phone holders that attach to airplane tray tables years ago, and they’ve really come in handy with the kids. While we bring lots of screen free airplane activities with us, our mindset when traveling is - do whatever it takes to keep everyone calm and happy! Other passengers included. 😜

If you’re traveling with little soon and want to keep your load light, I highly recommend this for entertainment/emergencies.

Here's a little car seat travel hack for those heading flying with little kids soon!

Snag a foldable trolley like this one off Amazon so you can ROLL your car seat(s) through the airport and onto the plane.

On our most recent vacation, I stacked both of our light weight travel car seats (they're 7.8 lbs. each) on top of each other and used one trolley to pull - it worked like a charm.

The key is aligning the bottom car seat right in the center of the trolley, then securing it tightly with one belt towards the bottom (thread through where the seat belt would go). Then you stack the other car seat on top and use another belt to secure (or the attached bungee cords if you buy the exact trolley we have that's linked). Our trolley came with 2 belts, too, FYI.

Now that we’re back from our vacation I want to share some of the baby and toddler travel products we actually find super useful - like this double stroller travel bag with straps so you can be hands free. That’s essential when you’re trying to get 2 kids, 2 car seats, and carry on bags onto a plane. 😅 You only have so many hands!!

This was the first time we traveled with our double stroller, so the first time using this bag, and it held up great! Whether you’re going on a Disney vacation or other, this is one of the best toddler travel hacks I could give you!! I packed this $10 over the door organizer from Target in the kids suitcase and put all of their outfits in the various pockets as soon as we got to the hotel. It made getting them ready sooo much easier because I didn’t have to search for things or try to remember what Disney outfits they were supposed to be wearing every morning. I loved that I could see everything in a glance, and that I was able to store their suitcase under the bed and out of the way once I unpacked it. It saved us space and time!! TBH, I’ve tried other window cleaning and even wall cleaning tools that are similar to this. However, this one feels the most sturdy, comes with more washable cleaning pads, and has more functionality. The head bends in all kinds of ways so you can clean baseboards, cabinets, floors, and more. I love a good, multipurpose cleaning gadget - don’t you?! 👏🏼

These silicone molds I found on Amazon are the GOAT for easy breakfast meal prep. 🐐 They make the most perfect egg patties for premade breakfast sandwiches every single time! 🥚🍞 If you want to start breakfast meal prepping, but you’re limited on time and want a quick clean up - these are a must.

You can whip up your eggs any way you’d like, but here’s what I do 👩🏻‍🍳:
* Brown and ground turkey sausage or chicken sausage, then drain any excess liquid
* Spray silicone egg molds with avocado oil
* Fill silicone egg molds with sausage crumbles and top with liquid egg whites
* Add a sprinkle of everything but the bagel seasoning to each egg patty
* Bake the eggs at 350F for about 10-12 minutes, until tops are firm.

Then I lightly toast my English muffins (I like the ones by Dave’s Killer Bread), add 1/2 slice of American cheese, then the egg patty.

I’m a simple mom, but I like making holidays (even the little ones) feel extra special! 💕 If you want to do the same, but don’t want to bring a bunch of junk or clutter into your home, here are some practical items that are great for a toddler Valentine’s Day gift basket. PS: Target has the cutest little Valentine’s Day treats right now that you can make into fun toddler activities. 💕 We did the cake pop kit, but they also had gingerbread type houses you could build, kits for making chocolate covered pretzels, and iced sugar cookie making kits. My only advice is to make sure you read the instructions before leaving the store because you need more than what’s in the box. Idk why I didn’t think of that, lmao, but at least now you can. 🙃

NGL, my nap time cleaning hustle has been STRONG lately. 💪🏼 I know it sounds crazy, but I already started doing some spring cleaning. 🙃 Between the cold keeping us inside and a little vacation on the horizon, I figured I might as well get a head start. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I decided to spend a few bucks on this Amazon window cleaner (which doubles as a baseboard cleaner - more on that another day) so I didn’t have to deal with a ladder. It’s nice that I can use it to get the hard-to-reach spots whether the kids are awake or not. That just makes the process faster…and probably safer. 😅

It was a little awkward to figure out the angles of the head (it’s super adjustable), but once I got the hang of it we were in business! I’m really pleased with what I was able to do. The only thing is I don’t think it’s worth using for lower windows. The handle just gets in the way, and it’s not worth constantly adjusting. That said, I just did the lower windows with a microfiber cloth. ✨

For the price and versatility, I’m really glad I added this to my collection of home cleaning products. 👏🏼

WELCOME to my NEW SERIES: Busy Mom Meals.🍴Here I’ll be sharing the easy and affordable meal combinations we make to eat well on a budget! 👏🏼 These won’t be recipes, per say! Just hauls of what we buy to give you meal ideas that you can easily execute at home. Honestly, they’ll likely be so basic that you won’t even need a recipe. That’s just how we roll around here most weeks. 🙃 But I hope they inspire you and make your days a little easier. 🫶🏼

First up ➡️ the smoothie recipe we make on repeat around here! Technically this is more of a snack than a meal, but some days it’s all we get in for breakfast or lunch. 🙃 When the kids won’t eat anything and else, this is what I’ll make because I know they’ll drink every drop.

You can add a cup of spinach for extra nutrients (you won’t even taste it) and/or some vanilla protein powder. We’ve done all of the above, and no matter what we all truly LOVE! 💕

Here are the measurements in case you missed them:
1/2 cup frozen mango 🥭
1/2 cup frozen pineapple 🍍
1 banana 🍌
1 cup coconut water 🥥💦

It’s day ✌🏼 of my Amazon Travel Stroller Haul, and this is the budget-friendly option! While we’ve already decided against it because it doesn’t have the features we need/desire (more on that in a second), I wanted to share because it might work well for some of you! ☺️

As many of tthe Amazon reviews said, when traveling with kids this “gets the job done”. It’s compact, light (16 lbs.), has a decent canopy, and reclines to a nearly flat position! The straps also adjust to 3 different positions:

The reason we’re considering others is because we plan to use these at places where we wouldn’t want to be carrying our diaper bag and other necessities all day. That said, the storage bin just isn’t big enough! And since it’s lightweight, hanging the bag on the back would likely make it tip over the second the kids hop out. 🙃

While it does feel a bit flimsy, when I compare it to our original travel stroller from when Luca was younger (3D Lite) it’s definitely a few steps up! And a similar price point if you catch it on sale.

All that to say, I’d probably give it a 7/10 stars. If anyone has this and wants to add their two cents, please feel free! I’m sure all the other busy moms in this community would appreciate it. 🫶🏼

Amazon Travel Stroller Review 🚨

The only CON was that it wasn’t free, haha! 😜 But seriously, I wasn’t even going to open the other two airplane approved travel strollers because I was so impressed with this one. But I figured I might as well give them a try and bring you along for the ride! They are all a different price point, so between that and the features hopefully this little series will help you to compare and weigh your options if you’re in the market. ☺️

PS: Even though traveling with kids can be hard (especially toddlers) - TAKE THE TRIP. With or without the fancy gear! You’ll get through it either way, and the memories will be so worth it. But for those who want to embark on family travel often and/or have a desire to make it as easy as possible (like me), that’s great too! And this is for you. 😘
