Today’s project: bow organization! ✔️ Our girly has quite the bow collection these days, most of which come in sets of 2. I wanted to organize them in a way that didn’t take up too much space, but also made it easy to find what I’m looking for and put things away. This hanging bow organizer from Amazon did the trick! I put it behind her door for easy access, and so it wouldn’t create much visual clutter (the door is almost always open). Linking here along with some of my favorite bows! 🎀

We own a few snackle boxes, but this one from Target is my current favorite! It’s microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and it comes with a removable cup with a lid - perfect for chips and vegetable dips! Are we still working on our garage organization project over here? Yes. 😅 Is it close to being finished? Also yes! 🙌🏼 But in the meantime, I wanted to share this power tool organizer I snagged to get all of ours (and their batteries) off of the top our deep freezer. To say I got tired of moving them is an understatement. 😜

This is under $50, took 15 minutes to build and hang, and cleared up so much of our garage clutter! If you’re working on organizing your garage, I highly recommend. It would make a great Father’s Day gift, too, if you plan ahead for stuff like that. 😉

Today we started decluttering and organizing our garage! 👏🏼 This isn’t just a spring cleaning project, it’s a project I’ve been dreaming of doing for YEARS. Our garage is small, and it gets messy so so quickly. So we’re finally investing a bit in storage cabinets, garage shelves, and other items to make it more functional (and easier to keep clean!! 😮‍💨).

I knew we had a ton of random little tools, nails, screws, command strips, etc. thrown around Dane’s tookbox, so I snagged this organizer off Amazon to house all of it. You can mount this on a wall, but we plan to put it in the rolling garage cabinet we bought. I’ll link both here along with some of the other garage organizers we plan to try.

This Costco home organization find is too good not to share! I’m sure pricing varies by location, but I snagged this 24 piece set of heavy duty, Velcro storage straps for $9.99. 🤯 These are great for tidying up and storing all types of items - extensions cords, ladders, appliances, etc. We’re using them in our garage, where we’re working on getting a bunch of stuff mounted on our walls to free up floor space.

Last year we had tornados hit our little town, and it wasn’t until then that I realized just how unprepared we were for that situation. 😅 You just never think it could happen to you, you know? 😮‍💨 It totally could have been worse, and we were luckier than many. But this year I decided to put together an emergency kit to keep in our basement (where we seek shelter)…justttt in case! Here’s the bulk of what I’m putting in it. I’m also adding canned food, water, and some essentials for the kids (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.).

I know this isn’t a fun thing to spend money on, BUT it’s like insurance. It’s just better to be safe than sorry. So if you live in an area prone to inclement weather/hazards, I highly recommend putting something like this together.

Organizing deep drawers is made SO much easier with these 8-inch tall drawer dividers! They are a splurge, but worth it IMO if you’re constantly having to reset the deep drawers all around your home. Even Dane was thrilled when I showed him these, haha! We have several deep bedroom drawers, and we’ve struggled for years with keeping them tidy - not anymore.
