This taupe color sold out early last year so I'm sharing now while it's stocked! This puffer was a reader favorite last fall / winter and one of the most petite friendly slim fit down puffers out there.

• Aritzia SuperSnug Puffer Midi length in taupe xxs -

Water and wind resistant, very warm and lightweight. This is xxs (2xs) in the super snug superpuff style.

FYI their even longer length puffer this year comes in Short sizing for petites! Linked under similar

Length: they have short, Mid, and Long. I am 5 feet tall and this is the Mid

Fit: they have original or SuperSnug. SuperSnug in XXS (2XS) is fitted on me and slim through the arms. If you like chunky layers and looser silhouettes underneath, then their more popular option is the original super puff which has more room in the torso and sleeves.

Collar is a more oversized wider statement collar with drape to it. Since it’s unlined and double faced with good movement. Thickness is Fall weight, not Boston for winter

• lodge trousers XXs short. These are the best, so comfy and drapey and can go from work to weekend to travel (I also bought new colors and got them hemmed bc short is almost never available : / and I truly wear these so much!)

I also linked their straight sweatpants that have a totally different material, but the cut and fit is similar, and those are fully stocked in short length and work very well on Petites. The sweatpants are a cotton fleece fabric with soft cozy lining, and thus are more casual than the lodge pants (which can be worn to work).

If you liked the quince jeans I shared recently, these Gap ones are very similar and super flattering, and now on sale for under $50!

XXs short has a 9.5” rise and 27.5” inseam.

FYI if your legs are tan, then the pocket lining lines can be seen through a bit on the white, so I’d recommend a slightly darker color like Marcona beige) or Navy which is super versatile and low maintenance!

Trying on xxs in the Aritzia Constant coat in the thicker wool cashmere material. Same coat style also comes in knee length (linked).

Runs big; size down if you can

The Constant coat is one of their core styles that comes back each year in different materials and colors. I’ve found that depending on how thick the material is, the coat will fit a little bit differently!

The wool cashmere is a thicker, plush feeling material that is heavier weight than their regular wool material. In this material the coat feels a little big and long on a petite frame, but is extra warm if you like an oversized maxi coat look. The merino or lighter weight wool Constant coats feel less thick and slimmer fit.

• Levi’s Ribcage jeans 24 x 27 in “in the middle” wash - some of my favorite Levi’s, I own in several washes. High rise and great to pair with flats, heels, or sneakers!

Trying on the Aritzia Connor wrap coat, one of their classics that come back each year. So many good neutral colors, and 20% off for Black Friday!

This is the shorter version, and I’m trying on xxs which is slim fit and flattering on me with sleeves a tad long. It also comes in a longer length which I personally like since I prefer midi lengths For fabric choices, there is melton or virgin wool which is thinner and more slim fit looking , and also wool cashmere which is thicker, and seems a little warmer with a slightly more plush hand feel All 3 of the different wool material options are linked!

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24P - J. Crew jeans run about a half size big for me but I don’t mind a little extra room at the waist these days. These are one of J. Crew’s best cut petite jeans! Love them with flats, heels, or boots.

Trying on xxs Short in Burnt Cedar

Aritzia makes 2 coat styles in petite! They call it “Short,” but the entire garment is adjusted for shorter proportions like American Petite sizing, including the coat length, overall fit and the sleeve length. The two styles are:

1.) Slouch coat in (Re) camel Wool, Slouch coat in Wool Cashmere (may be thinner weight than the Recamel Wool one)

2.) New Stedman Coat

The Slouch coat runs very oversized while the Stedman is a little more slim fit.

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down.

Coat is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

• Levi’s Wedgie Straight jeans in 24 x 26, “space to think” wash which is a grainy medium blue

• Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole suede ankle bootie 5.5. I walk miles in these! Runs a little narrow so I sized up to my bigger half size. comfy, well cushioned and with arch support. Slim stretchy shaft with zipper is comfortable and easy to fit under pants and jeans leg openings.
