BEFORE & AFTER Change the entire look of a room with .. ✅ Round mirror ✅ Linear pendant light When we moved from Florida to Tennessee, I overdosed a bit in farmhouse design. As that style slowly faded, I wanted a fresh, "modern organic" look... more greenery, soft wood tones, metallic accents; less rooster, chicken wire and signage. 1️⃣ By replacing the sign with a round mirror, I immediately added contrast, visual appeal and more light. Mirrors reflect natural light and make a space look bigger. 2️⃣ The new linear light pendant elongates the room and complements the shape of the dining room table. For under $300, this light fixture gave the space an updated and modern style. I always choose "oil rubbed bronze" for dark metals because it has both black and brown tones that coordinate with most homes. I completed the look with a pocket watch clock, a fiddle leaf fig, monotone books, a textured lamp and woven basket. In one day and with less than $600 for the two foundation pieces, this space got a mini makeover with grand appeal!
