Today’s holiday look is inspired by a Nadine Merabi outfit that Freddy Cousin Brown wore recently. I fell in love with the look and wanted to recreate it!

To incorporate it on the festive outfit series I chose it for a city destination and because it’s too fabulous I’ve decided that the city we’ll visit with our imagination is New York!

I recently got this skirt from Mango and it’s so perfect! The colour is amazing and it shines beautifully. It’s also so elegant that I had to create a look with it that I would wear to a fancy restaurant.
At the time I filmed this outfit I didn’t have my new burgundy faux fur. Actually this look was the reason I went on Vinted to search for one! Ideally I would love to combine it with a burgundy Santinni coat I’m eyeing at the moment. But my bank account gave me a side eye 😒😂

Spending Christmas away from your family is quite hard and getting dressed up was the way to cheered me up that first Christmas! If you feel lonely I would suggest to find a community around you. It sounds hard but the more people you meet the easier it becomes. I built my community and found my friends through an expat group.
