Did you know, it DOES matter who you work with when buying a house? 🙌🏻 I recently saw a local agent post that there’s no talent to getting an offer accepted, as long as your client has the funds- then there’s “nothing else to say you helped with”. 🤦🏻‍♀️ SMH. Let’s debunk that:
🤍funds are *obviously* important, you need to be able to afford the house you’re offering on!
🖤an agent knows how to make your offer competitive aside from funds: contingencies, competitive deadlines, limiting objections, waiving/ offering to pay for certain fees, writing competitive clauses, the list goes on.
🤍your agent can find out HOW to make those funds competitive, what are you up against? Can you escalate? How do you beat the offers in hand?
🖤an agent COMMUNICATES for you! I recently got a great complement from a Listing Agent that they wanted to accept my offer because of my great communication- I was timely, nice, respectful of their wishes, but aggressive with my offer and consistent follow up. We might have been out bid- but they wanted to work with us because I communicated well! 🎉
🏘There’s so much more, but just know- having someone in your corner matters. It’s not just about writing an offer and sending it off- especially in this market. Communication, consistency in follow up, and competitiveness are key 🗝🔑 That’s why I’m here! 🤍🏡
