Items that I personally would not formula feed without!

When my second was 8 months old, I got sick and my milk supply took a hit and I decided it was time to switch to formula! Whatever the reason is, that’s entirely your business but here are some items I wouldn’t formula feed without!

Baby brezza formula maker: “brews” up a perfectly warm, mixed bottle of formula in seconds! This makes those nighttime bottles and breeze and give peace of mind when another caretaker is watching your baby, you KNOW the bottle is being prepared correctly every time!

Extra filter for the brezza formula maker: to prevent bacteria, the Brezza formula maker reminds you to clean the filter every four bottles! To make life much easier, we purchased an extra filter and we simply swap them out whenever necessary so we always have a clean filter ready!

To-go formula dispenser: three sections to place pre-portioned formula in so when you’re on the go, you just dump and swirl! Fun fact: the Brezza formula maker also has the ability to fill a bottle with only water so you can add your formula later! No more measuring water!

Baby Brezza Bottle Washer:
I know it’s a steep price tag and I know it’s a luxury, not a necessity but man oh man! This thing has made a HUGE difference in our lives! It is so quick, convenient and easy to use! No more coming home to a bin full of bottles! Just set it and forget it! There are so many compartments that fit every piece of our Dr. Brown’s bottles, which were previously such a pain to wash (oh and those brezza filters fit also 😉)! I swear this thing cleans milk residue better than we could by hand! AND it’s also perfect for sippy cups so this will last you YEARS! Just one dishwasher tab and about a gallon of water, this is significantly more eco friendly and cost effective than traditional bottle washing, just a larger up front cost.

Now that Eli is 7 months old, I’ve taken some time to look back at photos from the newborn stage and I’ve found the same products in every single one! I’ve decided to make a collage of all the newborn essentials that we couldn’t have survived without!

Obviously these essentials can vary from baby to baby but when you think about it, all you really need is breast/bottle, a safe space to sleep, and diapers. These are the additional essentials that helped us survive the newborn stage!

Of course you could splurge and buy all the bells and whistles your heart desires, and if that’s what you want/can afford, you’re more than welcome to do so! But remember that your baby needs you most of all and these affordable basics will be just fine!

Now that little Eli is 7) months old, I’ve had some time to look back at our 3-6m most used items!

The nested been zen one swaddle has been a lifesaver in this household! I highly recommend them to anyone as the versatility is amazing! Just pay attention to the weight limits when making your purchase and don’t just go off of your baby‘s age!

The baby Bjorn bouncer has been our go to for at least six months now! I remember seeing YouTube reviews and thinking “who would pay $250 for a bouncer?” But then we were gifted ours, and that’s when I knew who….

Our mockingbird stroller has been fantastic! I remember wanting the look of a Vista without the price tag of a Vista and this was our closest find! Keep in mind, I don’t own a Vista and I’m not comparing the two models, but I know that the similarities in their appearance and the functionality of the Mockingbird has made it a great choice in my book!

Eli loves his tubby time and we found that this tub was perfect! No bells and whistles, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do!

The Newton crib mattress has helped my sleep tremendously! Knowing that if our little guy rolled over before he was strong enough to hold his head up, that he’d be able to breathe through his mattress, helped me sleep soundly at night! I believe the peace of mind justifies the price tag!

Our keekaroo peanut changing pad is just incredible! The convenience of being able to quickly wipe away any messes has been fantastic!

The baby tula explore is an investment but after all the studies on hip dysplasia, this seemed to be the best and safest option for our little one!

The Babyletto Lolly crib is not a specific necessity but I just love the clean and natural look that would fit in any nursery!

Our Eli started teething before he was able to hold any toys, we found that this dr Talbots gel and teether were fantastic for him to hold in his mouth like a pacifier! 10/10 recommend!

Lastly, this exersaucer is great when you need a few mins of hands free! I’ve loved watching Eli learn how to play with the various toys attached to it!

Baby led weaning at-home essentials is a short list! Why? Because baby led weaning is intended to be easier than “traditional” spoon feeding!

Just a few basic necessities and you’ll be on your way to independent eating success!

The best part about baby led weaning is it keeps things simple! Just a few accessories to help make the process easier!

These oxo tot bibs roll up and tuck perfectly inside of this YeahBabyGoods restaurant bag! This bag is amazing because it was a silicone mat that rolls out to create a clean surface for baby to eat from with beautiful kitchen shears to cut foods into age-appropriate bite sizes! The Ezpz tiny spoons are always a must have for me and I love having an extra two-pack tucked in my restaurant bag as well!

Lastly, this Bombol pop-up booster seat allows baby to be in the appropriate position to safely swallow and prevent choking! Restaurant high chairs often don’t have a footrest or don’t have an adjustable footrest. Additionally, the Bombol pop-up booster folds down SO CONVENIENTLY and takes up almost no space in our trunk!

Now I know the Bombol isn’t in everyone’s budget so I’ve linked some more budget-friendly options below as well!
