#ad Going through perimenopause has brought a lot of frustrating symptoms with it, but one of the most disheartening things has been the hair loss. Quick 20 minute makeup on unfiltered (no bright lights either) 40+ skin using my fave high end staples from the Sephora Sale. Look, I don’t buy into the idea that the sale should be a time for you to go crazy and spend all your hard earned money on a bunch of stuff you’ll be over in a month. But I do love to stock up on staples and I do like to use the discount to try some nicer brands I wouldn’t pay full price for. The products I’ve used are all in the pricier range, but they’re all products that you won’t be able to duplicate at the drugstore so worth it if you’re into quality over quantity (or just a really easy routine that wears insanely well.

If I could influence you to buy anything it would be this shave gel. I get terrible razor burn… the kind that hours later keeps me from sleeping it’s so painful and then it’s so unbearably itchy the next day I have to take a Benadryl. This stopped it cold turkey. I do sometimes get a little bit depending on how dry my skin was prior to shaving, but it goes away after about an hour with some good lotion afterwards. It does have a bit of fragrance in it, and I think if they took that out it would be perfection, but I’ll take 95% over what I dealt with before this
