Gender neutral nursery almost complete!
Having designed one nursery before, I really wanted to make sure everything we bought was functional and durable. Of course I want everything to be aesthetically pleasing, but functionality totally comes first now.
This crib is a 4-1 convertible crib, so it goes from crib, to toddler bed, all the way to a regular bed frame with head & footboard! The mattress is 100% breathable (if baby rolls face down) and also converts to a toddler mattress! We do have a dresser with the changing table on top, but I’ve realized amoires are just more functional for us. I prefer seeing what I have stacked at eye level as opposed to digging through a drawer.

It’s feeling a little bare, but I want to be able to add things once baby arrives and we know the gender!

Chilly July fourth weekend… but not hating it 😏

OUR COUCH IS ON SALE!! Investing in a leather couch was the best decision with a baby and a dog. We have had a million spills, lots of drool, and who knows what else.. but it’s SO nice to just wipe it clean and it looks & smells like new.
A leather sofa isn’t something I would typically gravitate towards, so styling it was somewhat of a challenge. We searched for so long trying to find the perfect color- and this.is.it. It’s a beautiful smoke brown- super neutral and goes with everything. (I have to say, I love the recliners and cup holders FAR more than I thought I would.)
After buying and returning trunks full of throw pillows, I finally found these from target and they’re just what we needed! Neutral, plush, with an ever so slight vintage feel.
