Day 3 of our trip we drove from Petaluma to Carmel along the PCH to enjoy some coastal views, then had lunch at Village Corner in Carmel (great patio and menu), walked along Scenic Road and Carmel Beach (and peeped all the charming cottages), and did a little boutique browsing on Ocean Avenue. Obsessed with this little town!! If I go back I would make time for oysters at A.W. Shucks

Day four of our trip we booked an e-bike tour of 17 Mile Drive which showcased awesome views of the coastline (we saw a few whales and seals), homes along Pebble Beach, and the most gorgeous cypress trees. We saw the Lone Cypress before grabbing sandwiches at the Pebble Beach Market and eating at picnic tables overlooking the view. Such a fun excursion! Booked through Big Sur Adventures and guide was Zane. After the bike tour we drove back to our hotel along Ocean View Blvd, explored the shops on Cannery Row in Monterey, grabbed happy hour at Hula’s (we had the most delicious apps!), then got dinner at Fish Hopper on the water. The Beach House at Lover’s Point is another happy hour spot in the area our guide recommended.

California to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary! Day one was wine tasting in Sonoma County. Our first stop was McEvoy Ranch in Petaluma which had a beautiful outdoor setting. They specialize in olive oil and their body butter made Oprah’s Favorite Things! We tasted a few wines and got to try a couple oils too—I loved the jalapeño one! 🌶️ We grabbed lunch at Sunflower Cafe in Sonoma Square (cute patio and great food) then stopped at Sangiacomo winery for another tasting. We got drinks at The Shuckery in Petaluma before dinner next door at Central Market 🦪🍷 vacation outfit

Saying goodbye to Sonoma at Kunde winery! Beautiful setting and the charcuterie board was 👌🏻 Linked what I wore for tasting and dinner after! We were gifted a bottle of Red Dirt Red from the host as an anniversary gift 💝

Day two of our trip we spent the morning hiking in Muir Woods 🌲🌲🌲 We were amazed how quiet it was in the woods that are so close to San Francisco. The drive up the winding hills to the park was a little scary but also offered great views! I wore this Marriage Material hat as a cheeky nod to our anniversary, and it would make a great bachelorette gift!
