I can vividly remember being in a clothing store when I was younger and picking up a pair of $100 jeans and my mom saying absolutely not. And in her defense, she had 3 kids so what she spent on one, she had to spend on the others for back to school shopping. I was so saddened that day that I didn’t get those jeans. And it wouldn’t be truthful to say that today, I don’t occasionally splurge on a good pair of jeans or something designer. But what it took me years to learn was that the price tag doesn’t always reflect the quality and it never reflects who you are. 🙏🏼
