Can you believe it’s been a year since this pandemonium has started?! A year of wearing mask. A year of dry hands from overly washing and sanitizing. A year of social distancing. A year of our kids being home. After denying the school two times, I finally came to the decision to let Kyleah go back to school. I cringed even typing this 😖 As a parent I’m torn because I want Kyleah to be safe, but at the same time I don’t think it’s healthy with her staying in the house this long. The Covid numbers are starting to decline despite living in Atlanta so I’m going to give it a shot. She needs more human interaction. Now don’t get me wrong... I am the pop up queen when it comes to school! Let me pull up and sis don’t have that mask on, or those A’s slip, she’s coming back home immediately‼️ I often find myself asking, “Is this the new normal?” Will virtual school be the way she spends her high school years? Makes me sad just thinking about it. But we have to start somewhere 🤷🏽‍♀️ What are you all’s thoughts on this? If you’re a parent, have you let your kids go back? If not, why? Even if you don’t have children, I want to know your thoughts. * * * * * * #lalafoxx #fashion #blogger #atlantablogger #mommyblogger #virtuallearning #virtualschool #highschool #covid19 #pandemic #virtualhighschool
