This console is everything I wanted! Sleek, sturdy, and stylish. The black finish adds a touch of modern sophistication while still feeling warm and inviting. It anchors the space beautifully and makes it feel intentional from the moment you walk in the door.

Above the console, I hung a large round mirror which completed look! On top of the table, I kept things neutral and textured: a ceramic vase, a small stack of books, a bowl for keys, unique lamp, and picture frames.

Underneath the table, I tucked a pair of neutral ottomans, perfect for a quick shoe change or extra seating when needed. They also help ground the space and add a cozy, layered feel.

I never thought I’d be a faux flower fan… until I met these tulips. These Amazon faux tulips are incredibly lifelike. I’m talking soft, real-touch petals and vibrant but natural colors that make guests do a double take.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a walking pad I have now had mine for over 3 years and can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my health! I get so many more steps in while working from home!

My Portable Raising Desk + Work from Home Walking Pad: The Combo I Never Knew I Needed
Three years ago, I made a small purchase that ended up having a huge impact on my work-from-home life: a compact walking pad that fits perfectly under my desk (or my rolling desk when I’m feeling mobile). I used to sit at my desk for hours on end, barely getting any steps in—and let’s be real, no amount of stretching in between Zoom calls was really helping.
Fast forward to now, and I can’t imagine my day without walking while I work. The walking pad has completely changed how I feel during and after the workday—more energized, more focused, and definitely a little prouder of myself for sneaking in some movement while knocking things off my to-do list.
Why I Love My Walking Pad
* Easy to store: It stands up vertically, so I just tuck it away in my office closet when I’m not using it. 
* Super portable: Thanks to the wheels, I can easily roll it into place when it's time to move. 
* Compact: Smaller than a typical treadmill, so it’s perfect for smaller home offices or apartments. 
* Remote-controlled: I can adjust the speed or turn it off/on without breaking my stride (literally). 
Enter: The Rolling Desk
The other star of the show is my portable rolling desk. I honestly didn’t expect to love this thing as much as I do, but it’s turned into my go-to spot for not just work, but also hobbies, journaling, and, yes, even eating in front of the TV sometimes (no shame).
What Sold Me on This Desk
* Hidden rollers: It glides easily across the floor without looking like a hospital cart. 
* Short base: Fits under furniture and pairs perfectly with the walking pad. 
* Spacious work surface: Plenty of room for my laptop, coffee, notebooks—whatever the day calls for. 
This combo has truly made working from home feel less sedentary and more intentional. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your home office setup, or just looking for ways to add more movement into your day, I can’t recommend this walking pad + rolling desk duo enough.

I love this cute retro label maker! It always feels good to have all the essentials fully stocked! I always put a label on the bottom of jars so I know when things are filled / when they expire!

These jars with wooden lids are perfect for dry goods, snacks, and toppings! They make me so happy to have stacked in my pantry.

I also love to keep polaroid film stocked for my Polaroid camera! We love snapping random photos and keeping them in a bowl as memories!

This may be my all-time favorite house project to date!

The Dog Fort Details:

I started the project by painting all the trim in the fort and doorway a pretty deep navy blue color. The wallpaper was an easy choice once I found this fun black and white pattern dog print! From there I added in their Amazon dog bed and found some light blue pillows, these custom pillows with my dog’s names on them, and this cute dog toy basket!

I decided the walls needed a little more, so I found some picture frames to hang on the wall and created a dog fort sign with these supplies! I finished the look off with a dog bone “door mat” (which is actually a food bowl mat) and viola it was done!

My dogs are obsessed with this space and so are we! I can not wait to do more fun projects like this!

Affordable Designer Looking Scalloped Ceramic Plates & Bowls

If you have followed me for awhile you may have noticed I have a little obsession with cute dishes! My collection of wine glasses, drinkware, plates, bowls, and trays is every expanding and I do not plan to stop any time soon! I love pulling out different sets for each season of parties. For Christmas, I asked for these cute little scalloped bowls because I thought they were so cute and I did not have anything similar in size.

I quickly became obsessed with them and decided to order the dinner plates to complete the set! I think they are so cute! I love that they have a high-end designer look for an affordable price! The large dinner plates are $9 and the bowls are $8. I could not recommend them more!

My most recent update were these picture frames above our built in cabinets! I wanted something that would fill this space, without the commitment of picking out art (we will one day). I love this set of four frames, they come in a variety of colors. I was drawn to the modern square shape, the frames are 16"x16", but and each frame fits a 5"x7" photo which gives it more of an artistic vibe if you ask me!

I knew I wanted a rug that would contrast against the light colors in our living room this large oriental area rug from Amazon was the perfect choice! It has a rich tone that anchors the space, adding depth and a pop of color! The best part? It’s super affordable, and the quality is great for the price. It really ties the whole room together and gives the area a more cohesive look, which is exactly what I wanted.

It’s the perfect centerpiece for the living room, and I can’t get enough of how it elevates the space without the designer price tag. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it!

Couches: I have two Cameron IV couches from Living Spaces, super affordable (about $900 each which is not bad for couches) and seriously comfy! We love them! We got the Coffee table: This solid wood coffee table dream and only $188 which is crazy! I love the warm brown wood look, it is durable, really high quality you genuinely would not believe it is under $200! It can go with a more modern home, transitional, or farmhouse (she’s versatile) I highly recommend! Coffee table decor: All from target! I put together what I wanted in my cart while shopping in store and I love how it turned out! You can’t go wrong with some coffee table books (Love this Magnolia Hearth and Hand one), an oversized scalloped candle, wicker basket for remotes, and stunning tray for my marble coasters!
