My fave beauty must haves and recommendations

Tried and tested 🫧🫧🫧 At 43 I’ve tried a lot of trends, treatments and products that promised the world and what I’ve learnt is that the things that actually work tend to be quieter, slower and far more consistent.

These are my long serving, tried and tested habits I’ll be sticking to this year and I’m no professional of course, just someone who researches, asks questions and takes notes of what my skin does or doesn’t respond to over time but hopefully some of this is helpful 🫶🏼

I’ve tried many LED masks, some good and some amazing, these are by far the best (I loved the face one so much I then also got the neck one) . Great for lifting, smoothing lines, building collagen, boosting elasticity and over all skin appearance with pigmentation, tone and even breakouts can be helped!

Ive found a beauty blender dupe for just £1.50 which is £16 cheaper than the original! I know i have always said i don't think the actual Beauty Blender can be matched in terms of how makeup looks and lasts when using it, ive tried lots over the years and they haven't matched up but i saw this one in store and thought the texture of it looked exactly the same so tried it on the off chance. I've been using it for the past couple of weeks and wow, it gives the exact same finish. It feels the same, expands the same when wet and cleans really easily. I also noticed there is a 3 for 2 deal at the moment so you can stock up and get 1 free!

Why didn’t I use lip stains earlier, but anyways, I’ve tried a few shades and this is the one that I’ve found looks most like your own lip shade so doesn’t even look like your wearing a liner.

The stain evens out the lip colour and tints just over the lip line making lips look fuller. I leave this on for a few minutes and it will last me all day, especially if I keep lips hydrated and this tinted peptide balm is just perfection over the top 💋

I’m 43 and beyond busy as a single Mum and don’t often have time for salon appointments so I’ve done the research and found devices that I can do at home and get amazing results!

These are investment products but the way I look at it is that it would cost me way more over a period of time if I was doing these treatments in a salon/clinic so cost per use works out pretty fair!
