Effortless Waves in 5 Minutes

The best curling iron I’ve ever used.
I’m always talking about it, but today I’m showing why this combo gives me the perfect soft, lived-in waves. Fast, easy, and smooth every time.

Products I Used:

Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron (1 ¼") My go-to for effortless beachy waves. The extra-long barrel makes styling long or thick hair so easy.

Oribe Invisible Defense Universal Heat Protectant Spray. Lightweight mist that protects from heat + keeps my hair silky.

Oribe Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray. The secret step! Keeps humidity + frizz under control and gives a soft hold without stiffness.

How I Use It:
1️⃣ Spray each section with the heat protectant.
2️⃣ Curl mid-lengths with the Bio Ionic (keep the iron moving for looser waves).
3️⃣ Let cool, then run fingers through to soften.
4️⃣ Finish with the anti-humidity spray to lock in shine + hold.

✨ The result: smooth, effortless waves in under 5 minutes. Perfect for every day or when you just want your hair to look put together with minimal effort.

How I Blow Out My Hair. This will last around 4 days before having to wash. I’ll typically style next day with a curling iron and then touch up each day after until the next wash. The trick is using this large round brush and light weight styling products.

@oribe Invisible Defense Heat protection spray. I use this on wet hair before blow drying and on dry hair before restyling with heat. It’s light weight and doesn’t weigh hair down so if you use multiple products it’s a great one to layer.

I am LOVING my new @dysonhair #Airstrait. For thick hair, it is superior over the GHD version. It dries fast, leaves the hair very smooth. I first power dry my hair with my blow dryer to get it about 80-90% dry, then section and run the Air Straight over it to finsih the style. It works amazing on dry hair too as a second or third day restyling tool. If you have been curious about this tool, it is worth the splurge! I have heard from those with thinner or fine hair, that it makes it too flat or sleek and they prefer more volume.

A favorite hair product I have been using for YEARS is The Cleanse Clarifying Shampoo by Oribe. Days I skip washing my hair, I use a dry shampoo that creates buildup. This shampoo delivers a salon clean feeling every time. It’s so good!

My straight sleek blowout routine. This is an easier routine if you struggle with using a round brush and dryer. I love the Dyson to finish off my hair because it is less heat, yet still gives a sleek finish. Some days I will wash my hair at night, dry to about 50% and sleep on damp hair. The Dyson still works great in the morning to give a smooth shine.
