The Vintage Wedding of Ethan + Annie ✨

“Ethan and Annie met and fell in love through the world of vintage fashion. Their stunning winter wedding took place at David’s Country Inn in Hackettstown, NJ - a historic Victorian mansion built in 1840.

So many beautiful vintage details adorned their snowy day - like Annie’s stunning wedding dress, Ethan’s dapper tuxedo, and their contrasting vintage minks sourced weeks before the big day. Annie sourced vintage handbags for her bridesmaids in lieu of bouquets.

The custom-curated vintage postcards as escort card, custom made matches as favors and vintage tablescapes invited guests into the world of vintage romance - curated by the couple and reflected in their beautiful photographs and videos.

Annie and Ethan spent the year leading up to their wedding shopping and sourcing all their unique details. We had a video call leading up to the wedding to walk through each vintage treasure and tablescape complete with photographs and diagrams.

lucid ladybug was happy to be there to style all the couple’s dainty details and ensure their vintage touches were set exactly how they envisioned for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and especially during the ballroom flip into reception.

“We had the pleasure of a personal invite to sit front row at Hayley Paige’s show, Twice Upon a Time at One Fine Day Bridal Market in NYC. We were elated to be back at One Fine Day this season, and meeting Hayley Paige and her team was the true cherry on top!

Hayley designs for the bride who “refuses to disappear into her dress, who’s worn every version of herself to get here and chooses to honor exactly who she is.”

The collection features Hayley’s signature romantic and whimsical vibe with playful pops of color, details, tulle, and of course... sparkle!

Fun-filled favorites include The Rachel and After the Storm, which both floated down the runway like a cloud! Silver Springs shimmered down the aisle with a glow-in-the-dark feature to wow guests on the dance floor or at your after-party in the mini version.

More traditional looks we loved: Only Always, featuring the gorgeous bow, and La Vie En Fleurs, which reminded us of a vintage Barbie wedding dress. We are thrilled to see Hayley’s collection come to life for our 2026 brides!”

“Flowers have become so special to me over the past few years - from growing them in our own backyard to tending to the blooms on @rancocascreekfarm.

I found myself in love with the process of saving and preserving flowers. 
My bridesmaids, Mom, and I dried hydrangeas, roses, marigolds, nasturtiums, and wildflowers from our yard and the farm - hanging bouquets upside down in our basement, kitchen, and front porch.

It was a full circle moment - having our family and friends shower us with love and flowers from people and places so meaningful to us.”
