I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to be a good role model. When I was younger I always had young women that I would look up to and admire. Whether that was their style, success, faith etc. As I’ve gotten older I’ve felt the pressure to be someone a young girl can look up to. I realize now that doesn’t mean I have to be perfect, but there’s many ways I can be the best version of me for others. I like to think about what the younger version of me needed and try my best to be that. I want to encourage you to be a role model, but don’t allow the pressure of that to make you feel like you’re waking on egg shells.
