This one’s inspired by the region I’m from, Languedoc-Roussillon! Coastal towns, quiet villages, and market mornings that make you slow down ☀️ While it’s rooted in that part of France, this capsule can easily work for other destinations or even as a refreshed take on your spring wardrobe!

It’s usually a little warmer than Paris, but spring can still bring showers and windy days, especially in April. Things tend to warm up toward the end of May, but I always pack a few light layers just in case!

I always like to take a capsule approach when packing, just a few key pieces that mix and match effortlessly! This guide shows how you can create multiple outfits from a simple, neutral foundation that’s easy to layer, style, and personalize with your own touch!

✔️ If flats aren’t comfortable for long walks, swap them for sneakers or another walkable pair!  ✔️ Add a pop of color with a scarf, belt, or purse! You can also swap a black cardigan for a brighter one to add your je ne sais quoi!  ✔️ Bring (or buy while there) a small umbrella! Spring showers are real!
✔️ Layers are key: think trench coat, button-downs, sweaters, and cardigans!  ✔️ Garden paths mean dust or mud, so choose shoes accordingly! I ended up wearing my black ankle boots quite a bit on this latest trip!  ✔️ Crossbody bags are chic and practical, they’ll help keep your essentials safe and close!  ✔️ Most importantly, leave space in your suitcase - Paris shopping is a must! 😉
