See, when I was going through IVF, I convinced myself that either way I’d be fine. If it didn’t work, I’d go on to have an amazing life full of travel and amazing experiences, If It worked, awesome I would get a baby. I was indifferent at times. I’m sure it was a way to cope with the processes. But now, my eyes fill with tears thinking about what I would be missing had it not been successful. Being a mom is indescribable, it’s a feeling that can not be put into words and one that no other experience in life will give you. It can’t be duped, manufactured, or generated. It’s a feeling you have to personally experience to understand.
