My Max Mara Icon Teddy coat finally arrived! I got it from Farfetch during their pre-Black Friday sale event (over now and the coat sold out) but if you hurry up you can still find it on sale at SSENSE!

I’ve heard of homeoplasmine before but I didn’t really try it before it became colder and the air became drier. Perfect for your lips and nipples alike (if you’re breastfeeding make sure to wipe it off prior) it simply works miracles and doesn’t leave any marks on your clothes. It also has a very subtle but nice scent (unlike all the jelly petroleum products).

I just started my nursery shopping! After talking to many parents I know a glider or a recliner is a very important purchase and you’re going to use it a lot so I went to Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn and started testing.
Babyletto Kiwi Cream Nursery Power Glider Recliner Chair is considered to be one of the best ones out there at the moment so I sat in it for quite a bit. I have to say it does glide very smoothly but I didn’t like how my back felt and it seems like it could be more comfortable for someone taller (that was my impression). Loved the fabric and the look though!
Ever Slipcovered Striped Nursery Glider Chair by Leanne Ford is the most beautiful nursery chair I’ve seen so far. When I was looking through baby room furniture I wanted to get everything from Leanne Ford’s collab with Crate and Barrel. I found it to be more comfortable to sit in than the Babyletto Kiwi but less smooth + you need to purchase an ottoman separately as it is just a glider, not a recliner.
Harbour Natural Flange Nursery Swivel Glider Chair seemed similar to the one by Leanne Ford’s glider minus the slipcover.
I also tried out Paxton Swivel glider and recliner at Pottery barn and was really impressed, imho it’s the most comfy chair of all I’ve tried! It’s also the most expensive of the lot so I am still on the fence.
I am seriously considering Storkraft timeless recliner + glider (it’s available at a great price at Wayfair right now, Wayfair always has very good early cyber week deals) & Chita power recliner (great reviews on Amazon and it looks good too!).

I tried on the pair in suede (the color is called: bracco, it’s like a camel 🐪 brown).
Loved the shape and the comfort (tread tray lug sole is perfect for lots of walking!) unfortunately for me they are a bit too narrow. True to size!

I just received Aeyde Hester cowboy boots that I got from Farfetch on sale and I LOVE them! They’re low key western style, easy to pull on and off, super comfy, the heel is there but it’s not too much. Trying on Allsaints Fox Chelsea boots: TTS, but made for narrow feet so go half a size up if you have wider feet or if you’re planning to wear these with thick socks. Soles: you’ll need to bring them to the cobbler at some point. Insoles: super soft! Walking on clouds. Easy to pull on but a little hard to pull off of your feet. Love the soft light grey leather on the inside of the shoe.

I love jewelry that I can wear every day (so it feels comfortable and I don’t have to think about it) and things that will last, won’t tarnish, that can be fixed and polished. I love my Mejuri Patra ring but I feel like there should be another band right there for extra oomph!
I recently found Chanel coco crush ring on the real real (my size too!) and when it arrived I was very excited but it just didn’t work got me! It has that hollowness on the inside that creates a ledge that makes daily wearing very uncomfortable 😣 It’s so beautiful, I love the quilted motif but sadly it will go back! Love my Mejuri Patra though - if you’re looking for a special gift 🎁 for someone look no further! It also comes in a wider version (in gold vermeil) if you want to try out the style first before investing into a solid gold piece.

We got our Frontgate Bryndle root fire pit yesterday and it adds an unbelievably cozy feeling to our backyard patio! Right after it stopped raining we turned on the fire pit and just sat there wrapped in blankets and thoughts 💭
Now, about the fire pit: it’s easy to put together (just connect the gas hose to the gas source, we just have a tank so we also got the tank cover), it’s quite light for its size, you can put your feet up (if you have an Adirondack chair or something like that), it can be used to put your drinks and small plates (just lower the flames a bit). I like the rocks that it comes with, they look very natural and organic, just the right color and shape to work with this design. I should also mention that ours came with a scratch on the side, the good news is it also comes comes with a touch up kit.
Both the fire pit and the tank cover (that can also be used as an outside side table) come with weatherproof covers.

I keep coming back to Everlane The barn jacket in cornstalk and I can’t be surprised it sells out so often.
It’s lightweight, soft, very packable, comfy and roomy. For a trendy oversized look go one or 2 sizes up.

This oversized leather jacket by Sandro has my heart.
Clem distressed lambskin leather jacket is ultra soft, comfortable, stylishly oversized and has that off duty model look that we’re all loving. It most certainly isn’t cheap but so much more affordable than the luxury designer brands without sacrificing on the quality.
I love that it’s distressed because lambskin is so easy to scratch (hence all of that softness) and it also gives that worn in feeling that I personally adore. It’s light considering how much leather was used for it, the pockets are super practical and I also don’t think the photos online just don’t give it any justice.

Trying on Cos leather riding boots for the first time.
This video is from 2 years ago so I apologize about the hectic style and quality! I was shopping for riding boots then and I always look for a new pair every Fall ☺️🤗
Since then I tried on so many pairs (starting with $200 riding boots by Lauren by Ralph Lauren) and tried on various designer options.
Honestly, these are great: the leather is soft and supple. They run large so size down or go with thick boot socks. They’re not actually made for riding (only riding a car 🚗🤪) but they’re still quite durable and they look expensive, chic and flatter your legs. They’re available in black and chocolate brown this season. Just get’em.

About a year ago I started looking for a pair of leather waterproof boots that also looked stylish. It’s usually hard to find a good mix of these things and nearly impossible to get that at an affordable price.
I was lucky enough to find Penelope Chilvers inclement boots on sale in summer and I am so glad I decided to grab them! I wore them here on the Oregon coast for the first time and I couldn’t be happier: they’re very cushy, comfortable and since I got the extra wide calf I can wear them with anything- skirts, leggings or wide leg jeans. I am not surprised Kate Middleton loves these boots so much (she’s usually seen wearing the model with the long tassel and I got the pull on boots just because I don’t love zippers), they’re worth every penny. You can wear them to work with a simple jeans, shirts and jacket outfit or a cute skirt that will add an element of boho chic style. Because of their weatherproof qualities (look for the word “inclement “ when shopping at Penelope Chilvers if you want the waterproof version)you can walk the dogs, wear them in the rain or snow, go horse riding or even gardening (years later after you’re quite done with them aesthetically).
It’s quite hard to find a collar style in comparable quality on a lower budget but I would definitely look at Ariat, Söfft & Timberland this season (all the similar styles are linked in the post).

$Trying on Madewell x Alpha Industries Waxed Cotton Car Coat in size medium (I am on my second trimester of pregnancy rn and if I hadn’t been I would’ve probably tried on small). It’s meant to be worn slightly lose so I’d say it runs TTS but definitely size down if you prefer a snug fit. Great fabric quality, feels comparable to Barbour waxed jackets (will protect you from light rain or drizzle for sure but not a downpour) and I LOVE the design (definitely getting strong Isabel Marant Celie jacket vibes at a fraction of a price). Not too heavy but not a wind breaker! Lined with plenty of room for layering. Super easy to style.
