My Max Mara Icon Teddy coat finally arrived! I got it from Farfetch during their pre-Black Friday sale event (over now and the coat sold out) but if you hurry up you can still find it on sale at SSENSE!
If you’re looking for a Teddy coat dupe don’t overthink it and get the one by Aritzia- it’s great quality and it’s on sale right now!

The coat is gorgeous, it’s worth every penny as it retains its value even on the second hand market. It’s quite warm and very lightweight at the same time unlike fur coats and shearling coats (usually on the heavier side). It has a chic edge but also feels super casual - wear it with a pair of sneakers, boots or heels. Love!

I just received Aeyde Hester cowboy boots that I got from Farfetch on sale and I LOVE them! They’re low key western style, easy to pull on and off, super comfy, the heel is there but it’s not too much. I also linked a few more pairs that I found along the way that were also pretty great: the top 3 would be Allsaints Fox Chelsea boots, Vagabond Kelsey Chelsea boots and Golden Goose Debbie pointed toe Chelsea boots.

We got our Frontgate Bryndle root fire pit yesterday and it adds an unbelievably cozy feeling to our backyard patio! Right after it stopped raining we turned on the fire pit and just sat there wrapped in blankets and thoughts 💭
Now, about the fire pit: it’s easy to put together (just connect the gas hose to the gas source, we just have a tank so we also got the tank cover), it’s quite light for its size, you can put your feet up (if you have an Adirondack chair or something like that), it can be used to put your drinks and small plates (just lower the flames a bit). I like the rocks that it comes with, they look very natural and organic, just the right color and shape to work with this design. I should also mention that ours came with a scratch on the side, the good news is it also comes comes with a touch up kit.
Both the fire pit and the tank cover (that can also be used as an outside side table) come with weatherproof covers.

I keep coming back to Everlane The barn jacket in cornstalk and I can’t be surprised it sells out so often.
It’s lightweight, soft, very packable, comfy and roomy. For a trendy oversized look go one or 2 sizes up.
It’s also very well made and is priced just right + I love how Everlane sources their materials and labor. There’re many other similar options out there of course now that utility jackets are so popular so I linked a few more styles by H&M, Cos, Old Navy, LL Bean and J. Crew.

This oversized leather jacket by Sandro has my heart.
Clem distressed lambskin leather jacket is ultra soft, comfortable, stylishly oversized and has that off duty model look that we’re all loving. It most certainly isn’t cheap but so much more affordable than the luxury designer brands without sacrificing on the quality.
I love that it’s distressed because lambskin is so easy to scratch (hence all of that softness) and it also gives that worn in feeling that I personally adore. It’s light considering how much leather was used for it, the pockets are super practical and I also don’t think the photos online just don’t give it any justice.

About a year ago I started looking for a pair of leather waterproof boots that also looked stylish. It’s usually hard to find a good mix of these things and nearly impossible to get that at an affordable price.
I was lucky enough to find Penelope Chilvers inclement boots on sale in summer and I am so glad I decided to grab them! I wore them here on the Oregon coast for the first time and I couldn’t be happier: they’re very cushy, comfortable and since I got the extra wide calf I can wear them with anything- skirts, leggings or wide leg jeans. I am not surprised Kate Middleton loves these boots so much (she’s usually seen wearing the model with the long tassel and I got the pull on boots just because I don’t love zippers), they’re worth every penny. You can wear them to work with a simple jeans, shirts and jacket outfit or a cute skirt that will add an element of boho chic style. Because of their weatherproof qualities (look for the word “inclement “ when shopping at Penelope Chilvers if you want the waterproof version)you can walk the dogs, wear them in the rain or snow, go horse riding or even gardening (years later after you’re quite done with them aesthetically).
It’s quite hard to find a collar style in comparable quality on a lower budget but I would definitely look at Ariat, Söfft & Timberland this season (all the similar styles are linked in the post).

Trying on Cos leather riding boots for the first time.
This video is from 2 years ago so I apologize about the hectic style and quality! I was shopping for riding boots then and I always look for a new pair every Fall ☺️🤗
Since then I tried on so many pairs (starting with $200 riding boots by Lauren by Ralph Lauren) and tried on various designer options.
Honestly, these are great: the leather is soft and supple. They run large so size down or go with thick boot socks. They’re not actually made for riding (only riding a car 🚗🤪) but they’re still quite durable and they look expensive, chic and flatter your legs. They’re available in black and chocolate brown this season. Just get’em.

$Trying on Madewell x Alpha Industries Waxed Cotton Car Coat in size medium (I am on my second trimester of pregnancy rn and if I hadn’t been I would’ve probably tried on small). It’s meant to be worn slightly lose so I’d say it runs TTS but definitely size down if you prefer a snug fit. Great fabric quality, feels comparable to Barbour waxed jackets (will protect you from light rain or drizzle for sure but not a downpour) and I LOVE the design (definitely getting strong Isabel Marant Celie jacket vibes at a fraction of a price). Not too heavy but not a wind breaker! Lined with plenty of room for layering. Super easy to style. The Row Canal loafers have been on my wishlist for a while: very casual, comfy and undeniably chic. They’re also super lightweight and their design allows plenty of room in the toe box which is perfect for swollen feet. IMHO they run a little small so go half a size up or a whole size up if you’re planning to wear socks! I wish I could tell you that one could find a similar style in comparable quality for less but these loafers are absolutely unique in their own way and I’ll be definitely hunting them down in other colors. #LTKVideo

I am not a huge fan of Fall decor or Halloween decor, all I usually do is add more candles and turn on the piano music to create the cozy atmosphere. (Love my retro style speaker by Audio Pro).
