Y’all - this new cane furniture collection from @walmart is fantastic! They’re well-designed, on-trend, and affordable. Plus, the reviews are super positive! That’s a tough combo to nail, but these pieces seem like some real gems.

This week's blog post shares a design I created for a large family room! I love putting these Shop My Style boards together - it’s fun to share a peek at my design style and give you a taste of what I do with my e-design clients. These are a little more “low key” than my client design boards, but they include many of the pieces of furniture and decor that I might recommend for a space.

This ready-made design is a mix of "high/low" and I hope it gives you a jumping off point for finding the right pieces for your own home.

This living space is inspired by a mashup of styles: a little bit modern, a little bit traditional, and all the cozy feels. If you’re a fan of @amberinteriors or @studiomcgee (I definitely am!), you might see some echoes of their styles in here as well. 😉

Don't be afraid to reimagine the purpose of a room! When we bought our house, our family room was staged as a small dining space. I thought that area would serve our family better as a living space right across from the kitchen, so we shifted the dining are to the middle of our first floor (which was just a big empty spot!). It works SO well and eliminated the awkward no-man's land. Swipe to see how it looked staged in the last photo!
