Add this to the list of things I said I’d never do as a parent 🙃. If you’re an OG, you know Ada has NEVER been a good sleeper. I noticed she just wanted to be comforted by her mom, so I would sleep in her chair with her; then my back started hurting, I was getting terrible sleep, and no one was happy. I began bringing her in bed only on nights I was alone. She’d spend a majority of the night in her crib, then in the early morning I bring her in and guys. I haven’t been this well rested since long before parenthood. One thing that concerned me was her body temperature (Midwestern summers 🙃🙃🙃).
