If you don’t have a pair of cream or beige colored jeans, this is a great option. I’m wearing a size 2 and an XS in the top. 
I think the dress could be good depending on the person. I felt like this made me look very straight up and down. I am wearing an XS. I wish the fabric was slightly higher quality, but the price point can’t be beat. 
You can’t beat the price on this basic T-shirt dress. Wearing a size small. I typically size up in T-shirt dresses so they are not too clingy.

I am wearing a small petite because I wanted it to be a little more cropped on me and I wanted to wear it with high-rise shorts
