Raw denim trousers.

Metallic jeans are my jam! And I have two awesome pair to choose from!

Pair #1:
Target (jeans on the left)
These are perfect for all you girls who are 5’7” or shorter, and prefer a more rigid denim. I’m a size 6, wearing my true size. I’m 5’7” and typically wear a long inseam. I’m wearing 3” heels and these do fit good, so I feel confident anyone my height will be fine with this regular inseam. These are $35

Pair #2
American Eagle (jeans on the right)
These are the comfiest jeans I’ve ever worn. They’re thin, and stretchy, so they feel very comfortable. This fit is going to work with ALL body types. I will suggest, size down one size, and also consider sizing down an inseam. I’m a size 6, 5’7” and typically wear a long inseam. I’ll share a video of me wearing the 6L (my normal size). They’re just too big. In this photo, I’m wearing the 4R. I could probably do the long inseam, but I’d have to wear these 3” shoes. These are on sale for $62!

If you love an elevated, yet basic look, then this is for you!

Sizing Details: I’m 5’7, and usually a size 6/28, and always order a long (34” inseam).

Shirt: I’m wearing a medium tall, so I consider this top to be true to size. In long sleeves, I always order a tall length if I can, because I want to be able to tuck my shirt in. I do have this same style in a Medium regular and it fits perfect, so don’t be worried if the color you want isn’t available in the right length. Chances are, it will work either way.

Jeans: These are my HOLY GRAIL trouser jean. I own multiple pair in the styles I’ve linked. I’m wearing a 6/28 L in these jeans. I do consider them very true to size.

Vest: My specific vest isn’t available, but I’ve linked some very similar options!

Boots: Stetson. Unfortunately they’re sold out in this color way, and aren’t available anywhere on LTK.

Cargo pant lovers, unite! These are an incredible pair, and they come in 4 colors!

Sizing: Ok, this is tough.

Originally I bought a medium (my true size). They fit great, but they felt a little bit big.

I went ahead and bought the small. They fit great, but I actually think I prefer the fit of the medium better?

The waist in the back is gathered, and it’s very gathered. The smalls fit great in the front, but they felt like they were a bit tighter in the back…so I’m going to keep the medium.

I would say if you are between sizes, you can consider sizing down. These are naturally a high waist pant, but because they’re a relaxed fit, you can pull them down lower….so if you want more of a mid-rise fit, stick with your true size.

A few of my favorite basics!

Long Sleeve: I love a good long sleeve basic shirt in the winter! This comes in 14 colors and is on sale for $8.40! I’m wearing a size medium, so I consider them to be true to size. One thing to note: The two metallic colors are a bit different fabric (I bought them online and returned them because I wasn’t a fan), but the 12 colors that are NOT metallic are a super soft, slinky ribbed material.

Short Sleeve: I’m a sucker for an elevated basic and it’s velvet! This comes in 8 different colors and is under $25. This is meant to be a bit oversized. I’m wearing a small in the blue, and a medium in the brown. Both fit great, but I prefer the look of the small. If you want the oversized look, buy your true size. If you’re in between sizes or don’t want something as oversized, I’d say size down.

Jeans: I went ahead and linked my two favorite pair of trousers from Ariat—the ones I’m wearing here, and my other favorite pair (because they’re ON SALE)! They’re a “perfect rise” which is in between an mid and high rise. In both pair, I wear a 28L and consider them to be very true to size. I’m 5’7”, a size 6 (occasionally I got down to a 4), and always opt for a 34” inseam). If you’re between sizes, you might consider sizing up?

Portifino, but make it cropped! This is perfect with high-waisted jeans!

I’m a size 6, and am always a size 28 in Ariat denim!

This style of shirt is my ultimate favorite Cowgirl shirt! They’re so breathable, the quality is unmatched, and they’re very affordable!

Basic tees are my jam! These are two of my favorites from Banana Republic and Old Navy! The BR shirt runs TTS (I have a medium). The Old Navy is ROOMY so size down. I’m a medium, but typically size down to a small in ON pieces. I have one in an XS and one in a S. If I were to buy a 3rd, I’d grab it in an XS. So size down!
