Cocktails & craft time? Sounds like the perfect combo to me!

I have some many paper napkins from decoupage & our home bar. I wanted to use them to create something new. Voila! Cocktail napkin flowers!
•
I used 2 napkins for each flower, removing the back layers with painters tape. Cut the napkins in half & stack the 4 halves together. Accordion fold the napkins & secure in the middle with a twist tie. Cut the ends into points. Carefully open & separate each layer. I used faux leaves & floral wire for the stems & simple hot glued them to the bottom of the flowers.

Creating an inexpensive floral arrangement is easier than you think!
•
Most of my flowers, as well as my dry foam, were purchased at Dollar Tree. I, also, purchased some of the floral, including the fern, at Michael’s. Their spring & summer floral is currently 50% off.

Start with a beautiful container & cut your dry foam down to fit.
•
Use wire cutters to separate your floral bushels. I like to begin by putting my largest flower in the center & working out from there.
•
After you’ve added your flowers, add longer, thin stems with a different texture to add height & depth.
•
I finish by adding greenery at both the base & to fill any holes.
•
Now, you have a beautiful arrangement that will last forever!

I found some Tobacco Leaf charger plates I loved, but they were around $100 each! I had white chargers & tobacco leaf napkins on hand, so I made my own!

I used dishwasher safe Mod Podge to decoupage these beauties. Make sure to use 3 coats, allowing each layer to dry at least an hour.

DIY sugar cubes

I made these adorable butterfly sugar cubes for my par-tea this past weekend.
•
Simply mix 1 cup white sugar with 1 tsp water. Stir until it feels like wet sand. Firmly press into a silicone mold of your choice. Let sit overnight & then pop out! So simple!
