Vacation season is officially here-and if you're looking for some cute, AFFORDABLE outfits to pack in your suitcase, I've got you covered! They're perfect for any warm weather vacation, or honestly just your everyday life at home. Whether it's a casual sightseeing day, running errands, dinner out with friends or brunch on the weekend, these pieces are great! They all run pretty true to size with the exception of the printed wide leg pants and the green halter dress-those run big so if you're not sure, size down one. They have elastic so they're pretty forgiving. I'm wearing a size XS in all of the pieces.

This 100% cotton premium denim shirt dress is so fun! I love the jeans style buttons that go all the way to the hem, the contrast stitching throughout the dress, the slight a-line shape from the waist down, AND IT HAS POCKETS! It runs true to size but there’s no stretch, so keep that in mind if you don’t care for a fitted waist. It’s not a heavy fabric, but it’s a perfect transition piece for summer to fall. I think this is a great teacher dress too! This one is guaranteed to sell out!

Starting the week off right in this all denim look! I shared the blouse in stories last week and the response was overwhelming! It looks great both tucked and untucked and I’m wearing it in a size XS. Get it for 15% off with code GOLD15. The jeans are part of @walmart’s pre-fall collection and they’ve released them in several washes. I’m wearing the darkest option in size 2. They’re very stretchy and lightweight. I love that the wide cuff isn’t actually extra fabric folded over but just material sewn on the hemline so it doesn’t add bulk to my lower legs. Added a cozier fall vibe by adding accessories in a rich brown. Who else is excited for fall?!

Story behind this outfit-I’d been working on the computer all day and never changed out of my pajamas (I was in a groove). We decided to run through a drive through to pick up some dinner and threw this on to go. Conclusion: this outfit felt like I was still wearing pajamas but I felt put together and confident. Next time, I’ll just get dressed at the beginning of the day and I’ll probably be more productive too!

The pants are an elastic waist and run big. I sized down one. Vest top is TTS.

#walmartpartner Believe it or not, Back to College is about a month away and it’s time to get serious! Here are 5 items that often go overlooked but are ideal for dorm life, apartment life, and beyond! I found all of these at @walmart and here’s why you need them:

1. Slim hangers-hanging space is at a premium in dorms. Get these!
2. One of the excuses for not doing laundry is it’s too hard to get the dirty clothes to the laundry room. This wheeled hamper also has an extendable handle to make it super easy to roll right to the laundry room. I even have one in my house!
3. They won’t clean their room often, but this stick vac makes it easy to do right before parent’s weekend and move out. Plus, it’s a great way to make friends if someone needs to borrow the vacuum!
4. I can’t recommend enough to partially loft their bed so there’s more storage space underneath. We did that for both of our boys and used these plastic drawers to give them even more hidden storage. Plus they took the drawers with them to their college apartments!
5. There are never enough outlets-this revolving surge protector power tower has 6 outlets and 4 usb ports! It’s so good that my husband got one for all of his musical equipment. It also has a shelf on the top to hold phones and tablets while they’re charging.

#walmartpartner I use some of these items every day, and some only occasionally, but I have come to rely on all of them, and they’re all available on @walmart!

1. I got my KitchenAid Stand Mixer almost thirty years ago and it’s still my go to appliance whenever I bake something. I love it in this silver color!

2. My everyday vacuum-we use it on carpet, on hard surfaces, and use ALL the attachments too!

3. This is the newest addition to our kitchen appliances, and it has become a family favorite! Obviously great for making ice cream but so much more, too!

4. I can’t live without this heater AND fan! It heats up my little office space perfectly in the winter and keeps me cool in the summer! Plus, it’s not so big that I can’t move it around the house if I want to use it somewhere else!
