Three summer looks that I am loving right now-and they're all from @lovechicos! 1. I love the deep olive color and intricate embroidery detail on this tiered maxi dress-plus it has pockets! The belt is removable so you can swap it out with a leather belt to dress this up even more! 2. I always have a tencel/chambray dress in my summer arsenal-and this one is cut beautifully so you're not overwhelmed by fabric. Also love that has pockets! 3. Does this look like a denim skirt? Nope-it's a pair of lightweight, high waisted denim culottes and am having so much fun with them! I decided to get the regular length so they would be a little longer on me but there is also a petite option! The material is light as air, too! The top is a fully lined crochet piece and I'm going to wear it with EVERYTHING for the rest of summer! It's officially linen season, and these three pieces from @lovechicos are going to be on heavy rotation all summer! They all happen to be on sale this weekend! I love wearing them all together, but I also know that I'm going to use the jacket over so many sleeveless tops and sundresses. Our last day staying at the Inn at Biltmore Estate was a packed one and the best day ever!! We started off with their Sunday brunch which had some of the best brunch offerings I’ve ever seen (French toast made out of cinnamon rolls, mini cronuts, hash brown casserole & so much more), then we drove around the estate looking for the sheep and the Great Pyrenees that guards them, then we headed out for an Asheville Tourists baseball game at their historic ballpark (Single A Minor League), got ice cream in downtown Asheville, headed back to the estate to walk it off and found a tire swing, sat on Adirondack chairs and gazed at the mountains, then capped it off with dinner on the terrace with the best sliders I’ve ever had in my life (I gave the fries with truffle aoli to Michael). It was honestly the BEST day and one I will revisit in my memories often!

Notes about the outfit-the shirt is a must have. It runs TTS but the key here is it DOES NOT WRINKLE. It came out of the suitcase like this! My belt is reversible-the exact color combo isn’t available so I linked the current options that each have one of the colors on my belt. I wore this dress last night to the Installation Service for our synagogue’s new senior rabbi, not even realizing that it was Cinco de Mayo. The reception afterwards even went with the Cinco de Mayo theme with Mexican food for dinner, a mariachi band and tequila shots! A little unexpected for a Sunday night but I say celebrate the joyous occasions when you can!!

This dress is a silk cotton blend, machine washable stunner. It would be great for Mother’s Day, graduations, or just because it’s so pretty you need it. Wearing it in their size 000 (which translates to a size 2/XS).

Our first home project of 2024 is done and I’m feeling pretty good about it! We added porcelain tile that looks and feels like brick to our back porch (which is really just the concrete slab extension of our foundation). While I’m excited to get the furniture back on it, it’s currently a great place to take outfit pics! 😆

I hopped on stories the other day wearing this blouse and my DM’s lit up! It’s a very soft, lightweight fabric and I love the sleeve length. You already know about my love for those no-stain jeans from @lovechicos. I’ve worn them about 5 times since I last washed them and they’re STILL CLEAN!!

One color I’ve been trying to add more of in my spring wardrobe is GREEN 💚💚! I’m wearing a linen no-iron blouse with some lightweight cargo pants for a day of errands and appointments. I’ve also started carrying this woven tote bag and I love that the straps fit easily over my shoulder and that it has a magnetic closure to keep the contents more secure! Feeling like spring in this outfit! The seersucker fabric in the blouse, linen tote, raffia belt and espadrille wedges are all hallmarks of warm weather fashion. I wore this outfit for a short drive out into the Hill Country to look at wildflowers, walk around one of my favorite small towns (Comfort, TX), shop at one of my favorite boutiques (@Monogramme29), and have lunch at one of our favorite cafes (highscafe).

I’d call this work wear Wednesday but I actually wore this to a women’s event at my synagogue last week. Technically, it’s just a tank top, sweater and jeans but switching up the textures and making it monochromatic turned it up a notch. I added kitten heels which are still really comfortable and helped with the longer length of the jeans. My new faux pearl earrings finished off the look-and they’re under $4!!

When the temps go up and down, up and down, I’ve been reaching for cashmere pieces that work for both. I’m also really embracing the monochromatic look-I think it instantly elevates an outfit.
