I preordered this faux fur jacket awhile back and I owe you an update. There are still some sizes available in this color and the black. It snaps up the front, is fully lined, has pockets and a generous hood. Bonus points for being quite warm as well! I would recommend getting your regular size-I’m wearing an XS over a sweater. When it’s in the 20’s outside, it’s time for sweaters and puffer coats! I layered up for a ladies lunch yesterday and between the long sleeve tee, the sweater, the cashmere socks and the down coat, I stayed warm and had a lovely lunch with friends. However, that’s enough winter, let’s get back to Texas’s regularly scheduled 70°+ weather!!

Sizing and fit tips:
-Went with a small on the coat so I had room for bulky sweaters.
-Sized down TWO sizes on this style of jeans and cut off the hems.
-Everything else is true to size

Do you have one or two pieces of clothing that you just can’t stop wearing? They’re your “go to” pieces for a variety of outfits? For me, it’s this viscose blend blouse. I have it in two colors but this French blue has my heart! I paired it with a pair of pants I ordered in November but have never shared. They’re a high waist flare trouser that comes in quite a few colors and patterns and three inseam lengths. I’m wearing the 2 short so I can wear them with flats. I’ve had these gap toe slingbacks for about a year and I’m so glad they’re back in stock! It’s hard to find them with a navy cap toe instead of black! And…my Italian leather buckle shoulder bag in ivory is back in stock! It also comes in black or tan but I think the ivory is great for spring!

I wore this outfit on Sunday to accompany my husband and younger son to an indoor golf simulator and then make a grocery store run. I brought along a backpack with my laptop, headphones and work stuff so I could edit this week’s video while they virtually played a round of golf for two hours. I am so glad I decided to put together an outfit instead of throwing on loungewear because I ran into one of you at the grocery store! That was the cherry on top of a lovely, relaxing yet productive Sunday!

Now on to the outfit details…these are a new to me Jean style from @onequince. They’re a relaxed straight leg and the material has a nice weight to it. Comes in two washes and inseam lengths. I’m in between sizes so I sized up one. I LOVE the double scuba knit fabric on this top. I think it’s going to be a spring outfit staple for sure. The knit jacket is selling out quickly-if you’ve been considering it, grab it before it’s gone and while it’s on sale!

I dressed in layers, and I considered the coat as part of my outfit. I’m wearing a size small in the coat, XS in the sweater tee (it’s on sale), and I sized up one in the jeans to a size 27 (and they’re only $50!!!). The coat is a French terry material so it’s a more relaxed feel than a typical trench style coat.

We are definitely still in leggings season! I decided to step out of my usual choice of black and went with a soft brown from head to toe. I also went with lots of layers underneath my jacket-I’m also wearing a soft brown flowy long sleeve tee AND a tank with a built in bra. The leggings are really soft with a decent amount of compression too. Everything runs TTS-wearing XS in all the pieces. Best part-it’s ALL on sale or already under $50, even the shoes and bag!

If you find a soft, drapey (that’s a word now) chambray shirt that snaps, snatch it up! I got this one during the Nordstrom sale and now it’s over at Nordstrom Rack! This scuba knit drop shoulder top is actually a $19 sweatshirt, but I decided to dress it up with a pair of dark wash jeans, kitten heel boots and some amazing earrings and wear it out to dinner and to the Spurs game. Our team colors are black & silver/white but on special “City Connect” nights we wear baby blue. Dinner was amazing, the game went into overtime and sadly we lost, but it was a great night AND I was comfortable! Went to a Galentine’s/Favorite Things brunch yesterday and had a blast! I wanted to wear something feminine and fun for the brunch but also something I could wear the rest of the day. I love this seersucker blouse so much I bought it twice! This one in pink and the other in blue. Layered a soft cozy cardigan over it to wear as a jacket and paired with a mid-rise subtle flare jean (size up one from your natural waist). Faux suede loafers run true to size. Went to my first rodeo “adjacent” event last week at @Tecovas and I picked up a pair of new boots! I decided to wear these wide leg jeans to make it easy to try on all the pairs of boots!
