Old homes are charming, aren’t they? Until it’s -8 and your poorly insulated house with an inefficient-heating-system & old windows can’t keep up so it’s 52 downstairs. But in all seriousness (cuz you know I love old houses), our neighborhood was without power for 17 hours and the full house generator the previous owner put in is worth every extra penny we had to spend to meet an offer when we bought the house 😂

It’s still 10 degrees out so curtains remain drawn, hot chocolate (and eventually wine) will be flowing, and I’ve moved “sign off on the Mass Save insulation quote” to the top of our priority list. Stay warm everyone! #farmhousedialfano #mstarrdesign

03. I picked up 5 vintage dining chairs via @facebookmarketplace that I am thoroughly obsessed with and since we only need 4 at the table (there’s a bench on one side), I think the 5th shall live here so I can enjoy the view from the couch.

Shopping my house for Spring! I moved this @chrislovesjulia x @loloi rug from the playroom into the Big Room, while the previous rug is going to our bedroom. Love how the blue/grey tones instantly brighten this space… ✨

And before you ask, those barstools are from @ballarddesigns and not sold anymore and that makes me sad for all of you.
