And here we are 💕. The girls have officially settled into their shared bedroom together and they love it. There were tears in the beginning, it was a hard transition. Both girls felt displaced and like we were taking something so valuable from them. But once I pieced together my vision for them and brought it all to life, that all changed. They now find comfort in being together and love their new bedding, sconces and bunk 🩷.

✨Would you ever consider trying to put up your own wallpaper?✨ The idea of hanging up wallpaper terrified me at one point. I felt completely unfit and unqualified to do it. And truth is, I was! There are lots of mistakes that happened throughout this process but it was just a learning curve. I would absolutely do it again, I just wouldn’t attempt it on my own in a high-traffic area of my home. The kids won’t spot the imperfections; they’ll only see the effort and love that went into making their bedrooms special for each one of them.

We paired the romantic wallpaper with a boho headboard, giving the whole bedroom a whimsical boho vibe. Her bedroom is by far one of my favorite projects in our home 🤍

✨kids room design challenges✨ what are some design challenges you come across when working on your kids bedrooms? Most parents ask me to come up with a design the child can grow with so they don’t have to re-do everything as the child grows. So we’ll pick a few pieces that are perfect for the child as a toddler and in their early elementary years until they’re ready to swap those items out for something a bit more their age. My advice, allow the child to have a say! My daughter was my rainbow baby, so it was important to us that she had rainbows. But she loves unicorns. So the rest of the space was decorated with unicorn stuffed animals 🤍

✨Reese’s big girl room reveal✨ I have finally completed my daughter’s big girl bedroom! Her bedroom may be my favorite room in our house ❤️ it’s a space she can grow in to and swap out the accessories and pillows for more mature decor when she is a little older. It’s simply perfect for my wild rainbow baby 🌈⛅️

With a new baby on the way, we are in the process of transitioning my toddler from a crib to a big girl bedroom! Hubby wanted rainbows incorporated because Reese is our rainbow baby, and I wanted a more boho look going on. So why not have a mixture of both?! 😍And how stinking cute did this bedroom turn out?! So excited to share more as pieces come in!
