My mosquito dunk buckets get a quick refresh every 3 weeks.

I pour out part of the old water, refill them about two-thirds full with fresh water, add a handful of leaves or weeds, and drop in a new half mosquito dunk.

It takes just a minute and helps keep the buckets working all summer long to keep the mosquitoes away🦟☀️

Here’s how our backyard shed project came together.

First, we had a level platform to built to create a solid foundation. Then came shed assembly… which wasn’t exactly injury-free. Let’s just say there was a minor laceration and a few choice words.

Once the shed was up, we added solar lights for nighttime visibility and built a ramp for easier access.

It’s already making a huge difference for storage, but we’re not finished yet. Next up: gravel, landscaping, and all the finishing touches that will tie everything together.

Our storage comes in two sizes
I have the 7x7
Having a level surface to install it on is crucial. This part of our yard is on a slight slope, so we had a little “mini deck” built to install the shed on.

Once fully assembled, I secured the shed floor to the decking with lag screws.

The lights I installed on the outside are solar powered, have a warm white light and have three lighting modes.

This is our FIFTH season with our pool- it’s perfect for our family. I did upgrade to a sand filter our second year with it- best thing I did- it’s works better and is much easier to clear than the starter filter that is usually included
