It seems weird to be excited about something like a baby gate, but this one met all of our requirements and, best of all, gives us peace of mind! This one actually anchors to the wall (no tension pads here), is expandable to fit our irregular 100+y/o house, opens flush with the wall, and the lock is easy for adults to open. Bonus: it was super easy to install!
