•Rock Paper Scissors- This one took a second to get into but then we really loved all the plot twists. There were some spooky parts. A husband and a wife go on a weekend getaway as a last resort to save their marriage. “Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.” (I would let Ella (16) read, but she might be too scared). •A Flicker in the Dark- A Mystery but not too scary. And one I would let Ella (16) read, she is loving it so far. “When Chloe Davis was twelve, six teenage girls went missing in her small Louisiana town. By the end of the summer, her own father had confessed to the crimes and was put away for life, leaving Chloe and the rest of her family to grapple with the truth and try to move forward while dealing with the aftermath.” •The Women- I loved listening to this book, and everyone I have talked to loved it also! About a nurse in the Vietnam War and the challenges of coming home. I learned so much and loved all the characters in this book. “Women can be heroes.” (Rated R) •The Great Alone- A struggling family (the dad is a former POW, comes home from the Vietnam war) gets a fresh start in Alaska. Point of view is from Lenni the daughter. My second time reading this book, but I wanted to refresh to see if Ella would like it, and I think she would. They tackle some really tough challenges. “In the wild, there is no one to save them but themselves.” •Just For the Summer- A romantic comedy, really cute! “Justin and Emma suddenly have to navigate a lot more than they expected—including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?” (Rated R) •One True Loves- I couldn't stop listening to this one! Immediately hooked! “A love story about a woman unexpectedly forced to choose between the husband she has long thought dead and the fiancé who has finally brought her back to life.” You will wonder “How will she choose?!” (Rated R)
