Listen, don’t overcomplicate this. Don’t buy the notepad to go with the gift card. Don’t buy the mug. Or the apple. Or the flower. Or the special gift card holder. Just put all of what you’d spend into a gift card and write a note of gratitude. Have your kid sign it too (better yet, have your kid write it!). PS - If you really want to uplevel, ask your teacher their favorite store or place to eat. Our favorites this year were Nordstrom, ChickfilA, Amazon, and Target.
