This is a great book. It’s historical fiction and this book takes place during the Vietnam War [1966-1972]. It’s about a girl Frankie who enlists in the army to join her brother in the army. Well written, coming of age for the main character, survival, bravery and love. Highly recommend it. It’s a woman empowerment book.
