I think about this quote often as I feel like the boys are pulling me to be a better person and showing me what true love is. I feel so lucky to get to be a mother to some pretty perfect humans who are showing me the way. And to all the women out there who influence our children, thank you for being you! I know we celebrate women on Mother’s Day this weekend but honesty we should celebrate you all EVERY DAY! So grateful for all the wonderful women who inspire me!

As we walk forward into a new year our family has started working on resolutions and we decided upon the word ‘CHANGE’ for our word of the year. With the hope we can change our bad habits, change for the better and embrace the change thrown at us. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a creature of routine and I’ve always had a hard time with change but I’m kind of excited for this challenge. So here’s to CHANGE! What’s your word or some of your resolutions or do you not do them?? Always love hearing what other people’s do!

The start of summer as a kid always meant a new pair of jellies (those uncomfortable plastic shoes) for me. I always remember being so excited for that start of summer. And they could get wet and washed and they were sparkly. I miss those days so when I found these they kind of reminded me of that. But kinda of grandma shoeish too, like Miami retired grandma in a kimono would were these shoes but they were squishy and plastic and shiny so I had to have them. Anyone else have a childhood memory from summer that makes them nostalgic??!

West is definitely in control at our house! He bosses his older brothers around, always has a car in hand, is constantly throwing balls ⚽️ 🏀 🏈 (even if you aren’t ready for them), loves to wear shoes and will get upset if he has to take them off and can eat more blueberries than anyone I know! Love everything about this sweet boy.

I don’t have a lot of #lifehacks but one that saves me time and time again is meal planning. Do you do this? Monday’s are one of my days off and I plan that weeks meals and buy (aka order online) all my groceries for the week. I save a fortune this way since I tend to buy so much extra at the store especially if I don’t have a list. And the week seems so much smoother with dinners and food on the table. I don’t have time this last week to do that since we went to the #finalfour and the week felt like a mess so I’m for sure doing it tomorrow so I have more time to play cars with those 👆🏼dude. Teach me some of your best life hacks!??!!
