I am SO excited to celebrate this year, probably more than usual. Sloane is old enough to actually participate a little more this year.
I decided to start a little tradition with a fun Christmas Eve box. Filled with some of my favorite things and some of hers. Every year for Christmas, on my side, we always got a pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. That’s what we looked forward to, of all things. It was so fun and then we just played games and hung out. Starting new family traditions might be my favorite thing.

From the start, we new this little girl was going to be wild. (Literally, when she was in the womb…we knew). Watching her grow into this independent, loving, sweet girl, has truly been a blessing. Are there times where she tests us? Absolutely. Would we change any of it? Absolutely not! It is such a gift to watch her become her own little person and to see her personality come out. She’s got a smile that lights up a room, and to have people always ask if she’s “always this happy,” is the really the greatest thing. I think she has US spoiled. Sloane River, I hope you always stay wild. 💛

This girl LOVES bath time! Thanks to Stokke for making such a convenient little tub. It’s compact when you need to store it, but perfect size when you use it. It’s great for us right now! So thankful that baths are still a fun time for this water bug.

This little girl is finally feeling better!! With not feeling well since Friday and moving AGAIN. It’s been a little bit of an adjustment. I know she won’t remember it all, but still. We definitely were not prepared for all the sass, but she’s still the sweetest. And that smile, let me tell you. I don’t think I knew just how much I could love someone. I don’t think there’s a moment in the day, that I’m not thinking about her. Maybe it’s a new mom thing, maybe it’s just me becoming a mom, or maybe I am just obsessed with my child. I just know that seeing her makes any day better and I definitely look forward to getting home every day. I know some days it may not always be like that, or that one day we may not get a long all the time, but I hope you know that we will always love you, no matter what.

To say I’m obsessed with this little human, is an understatement. I’m so thankful to be your mama.
The newborn stage was no joke! Constant worrying, anxiety, sleepless nights, did I mention anxiety? We were a little spoiled though, because you really were a great baby.
No matter how rough it was, just looking at you made everything better. It still does! Every. Single. Day.
From the very first moment I held you in my arms, I knew my job was to protect and love you (and spoil you) with all that I have. Here’s to the toddler years and watching your beautiful self grow.
