Happy Wednesday friends! Today was beautiful and sunny and it really got me motivated to clean up/rearrange this space and take some pics! I shared some new items from this space in stories today that I’m loving, so go check them out! 😊 One thing that I didn’t mention in stories that I’m absolutely loving is this beautiful dough bowl! I got it from one of my favorite shops here on IG but they don’t have them in stock right now so I shared some similar ones! (Including size, the ones from etsy may even be the same ones). I’m loving the every day/summer decor but I’m also ready to add some patriotic decor, so I’ll be working on that in the next few days! Happy Saturday friends! Today we went hiking about an hour away from home and the drive and the walk through beautiful scenery really gave me so much joy!
Since this all started back in March I have not left my home except for work. I’m an introvert, homebody all the way, but today was much needed at this point. Now, I’m ok not leaving the house for another 2 months lol. Jk....maybe! 😅. Anyway, hope you guys are having a great weekend.

Hey friends! Sharing tonight my spring mantel! I LOVE my new sign from @ohsweetsky and couldn’t wait to put it in here! Love the vintage look so I decided to pair it with a couple of my vintage mirrors and or course I had to add some flowers! I love tulips, but I really wanted to use something different in here, and I found these ones on amazon and I’m obsessed with them!!

Happy Wednesday friends! I’m sharing this view today that I don’t think I’ve ever shared before because I just wasn’t a fan of the open shelves we had in here before and not because I don’t like open shelves, but because I didn’t like AT ALL the sight of all those movies and different colors! Lol😅. So when I found this vintage cabinet on FBMP I knew it was the perfect storage solution for those movies (Because we love movies so getting rid of them wasn’t really an option) and the more neutral & prettier view I was craving! 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s amazing what one piece can do to a space. Also I’m happy I have another space to decorate.. specially now!! 😅

Happy Monday friends! One of the thigs I wanted to share today is our vintage cabinet refresh!! It’s finally done and it’s black!🖤🙌🏻We got it a little over a week ago for $50, but it took all this past week working a little bit at the time to finish it ( painted inside & out, added shelves, added aplique/ornament, & new pulls!) I finished it this past weekend and was hoping to share it Saturday or Sunday but with everything else going on I decided to take a break to take it all in. I’ve added some before and after pics. Swipe to see them and let me know what you think!! I’m really loving the black so much!! 😍. (I saved all the process in a highlight)

On another note, COVID-19 as of last week it became a pandemic and just something we can no longer ignore. Is now affecting everyone in this country and world.
The only tool we have againts this virus right now is preventing the spread. No host-no virus.
This has to be now a joint effort and it can no longer be ignored. This is about not putting at risk those that will be really affected by this virus, is about not overwhelming the health care system that may have to face difficult decisions of who gets to be treated or not if we get to the point where not everyone can get ventiltors for example.
So please, this is not to create panic, to panic won’t help us. But to stay informed, vigilant and prevent the spread by staying home as much as you can, and following infection control guidelines if you have to leave your home. CDC and WHO are great resources.
Also why am I’m still sharing home decor/DIYs in these moments?! well because we’ll go crazy if we don’t have a distraction. Right now, doing that diy you’ve been wanting to do for a while but never had time to do it, would be a good time to start. Rearrange furniture, read the books, paint the wall/s. Do all the things at home that you usually don’t have the time to do. Together we can fight this. It will just take some time and a tremendously joint effort.

Happy Monday Friends! I think this is the longest I’ve ever gone without posting/being active on my feed since I started my IG account. I haven’t been feeling very inspired and I’ve been trying to balance our new life with boys at home doing school work, continue my job, dealing with necessities shortage and everything else that is going on, But I think we finally got into a good routine and I’m trying to focus more on the positive.
Last week I shared in stories this terrarium that I spray painted in white (comes in black) and I’m loving it here in our coffee table. Definitely the little spark of joy I needed and now I’m ready to start doing all the things around here again. I ordered a few things from amazon including a light fixture, ceiling fan and something else that I’m super excited about and will share more on it later this week. I’m still feeling very overwhelmed, but I’m also thankful that my kids are home safe, and that we have been having more family time. We’ll use this extra time at home to tackle things that we are usually too busy to do and I’ve been wanting to do but they always ended up in the back burner. 🙌🏻

This room got a little refresh this week! 🙌🏻
I LOVE the bright and airy feel in here!!
I have already shared with you guys my beautiful chandelier, but I also got a new area rug!!😍. Even though I loved my layered rugs in here, I think the lighter rug it’s more ME. When looking back at my pictures and seeing my livingroom pictures with the lighter rugs, those were definitely my favorite. So, even though I loved trying something different in here, I believe this is definitely more my style. This @wellwoven rug is also so soft and cozy without the high pile which I don’t like. I think it pairs perfectly with my old-new chandelier.. right?!😅💁🏻‍♀️

Happy Wednesday friends! So I’m still dealing with a bad cold (this is day 5😖), but one thing that actually distracts me and helps me feel somewhat productive is organizing and decorating. We’re still in full winter over here in NY, but I’m already so looking forward to all things spring/summer, so I decided to start bringing spring inside the house one space at a time! I’m mixing spring & easter decor because I love bunnies, but I don’t really dig the pastel colors all over the house, so I usually use those colors in the coffee bar area only and use more neutrals/greenery in the rest of the house. I’m loving this litte vignette that was inspired by my cute stamped books from @cozy_cottage_farmhouse they are absolutely lovely!! Go check out her shop, she has so many cute options!!
So, are you ready for spring decor? I’m feeling all the spring vibes already!! 💁🏻‍♀️ 🌿

Happy Saturday Friends!! I was just sitting here this am and couldn’t help to snap a pic of this view!! I bought the flowers on the mantel on Thursday which my hubby knew about, so I wasn’t expecting him to get me more last night, but he did and I ABSOLUTELY love those white roses!!! Loving this view so much right now!! It’s giving me hopes for spring and making my wheels spin for spring decor ideas!! Ahh can’t wait to start transitioning, I think it will start sooner than I thought!🤷🏻‍♀️. On another note, hope you guys had a great valentine’s day yesterday or if you’re still celebrating this weekend!🙂

Happy Friday friends!! Today was definitely a snow day here in NY! It was horrible driving this am, but I was able to finish work early today and come home to my kiddos. Now that I’m home I can actually enjoy the snow falling, and its beauty! 😅 it’s hard to appreciate it when you’re out there, haha!🥶 Anyway, since we are no where near spring around here, I’ll hold off to the tulip madness for a little longer, for now, these live golden pothos will do the trick of making me feel less blah during our looong winter!! I Love how they bring color and natural beauty to this space!! I just Love plants so much!!🌿❤️

Happy Wednesday Friends!! I gave this hutch of mine a little refresh! I think this and the mantel are my favorite places to decorate in our home! 😅 For this space I mixed some new, vintage and DIY items and I’m loving it! I bought that vintage corbel since the end of the summer for $20 last year and decided to wait to use it to have a special piece to decorate with in the new year and so glad I did! 🙂
