Asian skincare

By selabaymiles

My favs right now for anytime of the day!
Honestly one of my absolute favorite sunscreens. I recommend buying from Stylevana because it’s straight from Japan. Sometimes brands sell sunscreens in the USA and the USA has different filters which makes the sunscreens not as effective. By and large Asian sunscreens are superior and have far more filters. #jbeauty #anessasunscreen #skincare #bestsunscreen #sunscreen
Let’s break down everything I’ve been doing to get the clearest skin I’ve ever had — without antibiotics or a pill.

First: I cut about 80% of my dairy. I still have eggs and butter, but I removed whey protein, cottage cheese, and daily dairy creamer. That alone reduced inflammation for me.

Second: spearmint tea. I drink it twice a day (a few times a week works too). Clinical data shows it may help hormonally driven acne over time.

Third: consistency with treatments. I microneedle every 4–6 weeks and don’t skip. Collagen stimulation + texture refinement made a big difference in clarity and scarring.

I also simplified my skincare instead of constantly adding more.

My staples:
• La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser or Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser
• Toner (helps my moisturizer absorb instead of pill). Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner is great for any skin type, and the Japanese toner I use helps with brightening + hyperpigmentation.
• La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer

Daytime: EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46. Switching formulas mattered because I was still getting sunspots.

Night: I alternate IS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance+, tretinoin, and a Korean brightening treatment.

I never skip Revision Skincare Nectifirm for my neck + décolletage (safe day or night — just layer SPF).

I use my LED mask morning and night. Red light supports collagen and calms inflammation. It’s not overnight — it’s consistency.

And one small add-on: Etude House My Lash Serum for brows + lashes.

At night, I seal everything with VT COSMETICS PDRN Essence Stick to support barrier repair.

Clear skin isn’t one miracle product. It’s reducing inflammation, protecting your barrier, and staying consistent.

🌸 My PDRN Obsessions 🌸

Lately, I’ve been so impressed with PDRN-based products. For those who don’t know, PDRN (sodium DNA) is a regenerative ingredient often used in dermatology treatments for repair, elasticity, and skin rejuvenation. When it’s formulated into skincare, you really get that plump, strengthened, “skin-bounce” effect.

✨ Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum
This is a Korean cult favorite — it combines PDRN with 5 different peptides, so you’re getting repair + anti-aging in one. The texture is slightly thicker than a watery serum but still sinks in fast without stickiness. I think of it as a plumping and strengthening step — perfect for tired, dull, or dehydrated skin.

✨ PDRN Pink Vita Coating Mask
This one has become my go-to sheet mask. It’s loaded with PDRN plus brightening and hydrating ingredients, and I find it gives that “instant results” look — calmer, more even, and glassy. It’s especially good before makeup because it smooths and preps the skin.

✨ PDRN Overnight Mask
While the overnight mask is great for locking in moisture and soothing the skin overnight, it has more of a heavy, occlusive texture. For me, it’s better if your skin is dry or sensitized and you need barrier recovery. But personally, I prefer the Pink Vita Coating Mask because it feels fresher, gives immediate results, and doesn’t weigh my skin down.

🌸 Why I Love These
Together, these formulas target elasticity, tone, and barrier repair without irritation. The serum strengthens long-term, the Vita Coating Mask gives instant radiance, and the overnight mask is a “rescue” option when skin is stressed.

Purcell 24/7 Colostrum Pore Defence Ampoule
This little white bottle feels super unique. It’s packed with probiotics (lactobacillus, bifida, saccharomyces, etc.) plus milk lipids, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E. It’s meant to balance the skin barrier, tighten pores, and calm sensitivity. The texture is silky without being greasy, and it layers beautifully under other serums.
Japanese Eye Creams
	•	Placenta Whitening Eye Cream (blue tube): Targets dark circles and brightens the under-eye with subtle “tone-up” effects.
	•	Soy Milk Eye Cream (Sana, white tube): Hydrating, soothing, and great if your eye area is sensitive. More nourishing than flashy.
