I thought it would be fun to reshare some of my favorite diy projects this past year. The dining space dramatically changed. I first restrained our Facebook market place Pottery Barn table from a shiny brown stain to a flat black stain (it was a ton of work but so worth it). Then we wall papered the room in custom wall paper from @peel.and.paper. Next came the best curtains from @curtarra_curtains. We then added two framed, glass panels my husband designed on both sides of the space. It was a labor of love.

Pausing home content for today to share my new favorite seat. I spend a lot of times in the bleachers outside and inside watching my girls play sports and I have finally bought a stadium chair after a lot of research. I LOVE the wood ball garland at Pottery Barn but it’s expensive so I made my own. I found bowl filler at Walmart for $12. Then I just drilled small holes in the round balls and tree bark. I used a little bit of a metal curtain rod with twine taped to it to thread the twine though. Then I knotted the ends off and that was it. It took me 10 minutes and $12!
