I’m about half way through @lysaterkeurst ‘s book Uninvited, and something that really hit me today (the humpday of a very hard week) is when she says, “It’s impossible to hold up the banners of victim and victory at the same time.” It’s so very easy for me to complain about the difficulties each day brings, little rejections, little dissatisfactions, but yet I still hope for victory in the end of each season. I’m reminded that in order to live in the fullness of God’s Will, I have to see everything that’s thrown at me as a step toward victory and learn to turn my eyes on Him in those moments.
