Y’all 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗨𝗗𝗘 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 😂 This is a home overtaken by boys & they are muddy, messy and downright hooligans. I 𝘙𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘶𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 this year. We just got them a year ago & I’m not spending a small fortune on cushions each year! I’m okay with spending some money on things like that 𝘈𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵! These cushions were so gross 🤢 I went to my local moms group for advice & they came through 🙌🏼 This was made possible by dawn power wash 🧼and a tooth brush. (Don’t worry it wasn’t mine, it was my husbands😂) They came out new and I got so excited I couldn’t wait to show y’all!

Staining & stenciling your concrete! I get lots of questions about this y’all. YES YES & YES! 🙌🏼🤍
𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 since we did ours so I’ve gotten to know it, the 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 & 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗱. I definitely recommend it. ✅

📣We sealed it and added texture to make it non slip when we did it and I can imagine that that's the only part that I'll have to actually do upkeep on. 📣 I'll be throwing down some 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗽 this year just to make it extra grippy (is that even a word? y'all know what I mean 🤣) because I feel like its just not as textured as it was last year, after being in the crazy Louisiana elements I suppose that’s normal.

🖤🤍Concrete Stain 🖤🤍 y’all have been asking what I used to stain this concrete around the pool so I put it all together for you here and tied a bow on it. 🎀 Keep in mind I had 16 ft of concrete back door to pool, 6 ft tanning ledge side, and 2 ft around back, so you’ll need to adjust the amount of materials accordingly.

👉🏼Pressure washed (lightly) the concrete & let dry
👉🏼rolled the white stain on with a roller paint brush
👉🏼Taped out my lines and painted them & painted the stenciled areas
👉🏼Sealed it all twice (careful, it will be slippery when wet until next step)
👉🏼Use a ton of no slip texture spray to cover it. Then do it again.

@gulfstreampools did this beautiful pool & spa in a month total & they’re FABULOUS. 💦

These #pool ledge #loungers are EVERYTHING 🙌🏼 I will never be rich enough in my life to justify the cost of a $1000 ledge lounger. 🙈 I just don’t have it in me y’all. That’s enough to do so much to the yard. So, after scouring the internet for an alternative that would still provide a super fabulous lounge spot and make me feel fancy for under $5 dollars (wishful thinking, I’m a total bargain junkie🤣) I came across these bad boys! UNDER $300?! 🤍🙌🏼 my kind of deal y’all. We absolutely love them!

#Pool update day 29 & 30! 💦🙌🏼The Spa tile is coming along quickly & it’s even more beautiful than I imagined! These aluminum chaise lounges are my favorite spot in the yard. 🤍 So excited for this pool to be finished soon!

I didn’t post my finished pool. 🙈 I’m sorry y’all! After it was completed (1 month total dig to swim btw!) I was so busy painting the pool decking and then we had Ida. But TADA! 💦 We absolutely LOVE it! 🤍 We can’t say enough about Gulfstream Pools and Spas, they are absolutely fabulous.
