I saw someone ranking Toniebox characters recently, and it got me thinking about our own favorites. šŸ¤

For us, the Counting Fox and The Lion King are easy 10/10s. They’re on repeat almost every afternoon, and honestly, I think they calm me down just as much as they calm him. šŸ«¶šŸ»

Don’t get me wrong—we still have screen time in our house. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but if it’s educational, I’m okay with it—especially since he comes to work with me every day.

That being said, when we’re home, I do try to limit screens, and this has been one of our all-time favorite alternatives. ✨

The Luna can be used as a projector, played as stories and songs with the projector off, or even used as a nightlight. It’s one of those toys that grows with them and gets used in so many different ways.

I’m thinking this might be the start of a little mini-series sharing our favorite low-stimulation, screen-free toys. šŸ«¶šŸ»

Do you have a Luna? If so, what are your favorite characters?

Elmo is the current obsession around here, but the Super Simple Songs collection gets a lot of love too. ā¤ļø
10/10 recommend, so grab a set while they’re still on sale! You can also find them on Amazon—I have them linked in my bio. 🄰

Now help me out… what’s on your toddler’s Christmas list this year? šŸŽ„ I’ve been eyeing foam stepping stones, but I’d love some real-life reviews before I buy. If you have a set, are they worth it? And which ones do you recommend?

Do you do a toy rotation? If so, how often?

For us, once a week seems to be the sweet spot. We leave out all our books, Tonies, and most of our current Lovevery kit, but everything else gets swapped around to keep things feeling fresh.

What toys, activities, or items have earned a permanent spot in your rotation? Drop your favorites below. šŸ«¶šŸ»

This may be an unpopular opinion, but during our one-on-one playtime, we often reach for toys that are a little more advanced—when I can sit with him, play alongside him, and supervise. I’ve noticed they hold his attention so much longer, and this is one we come back to again and again.

It’s been such a fun way to work on counting, color recognition, and problem-solving. 🌈

What are your current playtime favorites? Drop them in the comments—I’m always looking for new ideas! šŸ«¶šŸ»
