Fun fact! We designed this room for my son in 2019 when he was 7 and now in 2024 at age (almost 12) not much has changed! 5 years is pretty good! So how do you design a timeless kid’s room? Here are a couple of my go-to tips: 👇👇👇 🎨 Choose a color that feels kid neutral but not too baby-ish. Think sophisticated blues and greens that aren’t too bright /brash. 🛏️ when it comes to furniture - choose practical and well made pieces that can grow with them - right on up to college! 🖼️ mix and match with decor and avoid any one specific theme that they will likely age out of!
