It’s rare to have a Sunday Funday with friends these days. But with my birthday coming up, my bestie made it happen. Her hubby babysat, and we had a day to ourselves.

We went to the mall for matching friendship bracelets (more on that soon) and enjoyed kid-free sips and snacks. She’s going to Paris this weekend so I guess I had French girl vibes in my mind when picking out what to wear: stripes, denim, loafers, and a red lip (which I rarely do these days as a mom!). As for the sleek braid… let’s just say I’m very overdue for a haircut 🙈

💄 Beauty tip: To make my red lip last longer, I fill in my lips completely with liner before applying lipstick and gloss.

GRWM for my son’s 2nd birthday 🚚 What do you wear to host a truck-themed birthday party? Denim on denim with truck brooches, of course! 🚛

For my son’s at-home celebration, I matched his custom denim sleeve shirt with a double denim look. I’m a girlie girl at heart (so ballet flats for comfy hosting), but as a boy mom, I wanted to tie into the theme beyond just denim. My solution? Truck stickers! They doubled as party favors for the kids and patches for the adults. 🚚💛

☀️ Daytime: A cozy oversized sweater creates the perfect contrast with a silky skirt. I got mine in petite so I can wear it with flats—like these silver sneakers that helped me shine through the holidays. ✨

🌙 Night: I’m not usually into showing off so much midriff, but I love the balance of being mostly covered with just a peek of skin. Plus, anything goes for NYE! 🎉

I wasn’t sure how much use I’d get out of a sheer top, so I opted for this super affordable one—just $27! And wow, was I wrong. I’ve worn this dainty top so many times! Here are two ways for holiday:

☀️ Daytime: I adore the blazer-with-nothing-underneath trend, but sometimes it feels too bare for certain occasions. This sheer embellished top gives the illusion of going bare while still offering coverage. Plus, the sparkle adds an extra festive touch to winter white looks.

🌙 Night: This top gives off serious princess vibes when paired with a festive skirt. I’ve styled it with tulle before, but for this holiday look, I went with a silky maxi. A nude tube top underneath keeps the barely-there look mom-approved.

When you’re invited to a last-minute ugly Christmas sweater party, you improvise! My sweater got lost in the move, so I borrowed my boyfriend’s Bob Ross sweater—and honestly, I’m loving the oversized fit. Here’s how I wore it for our night out… and how I styled it for a casual daytime look!

☀️ Daytime: I turned the sweater backwards to keep it simple in the front and party in the back! I layered it over an oversized button-down and added my go-to silver sneakers for the season. Star cluster earrings add just the right amount of subtle sparkle.

🌙 Night: To balance the oversized fit, I paired it with sleek leather leggings. Since the sweater’s lights no longer work, I added a ruby statement necklace for a little extra shine. Day 6: Cardigan Set (the set is only $26.60 today!)

I’m all about a good cardigan set, especially one that’s toddler-proof. Cashmere is gorgeous, but let’s be real—it’s not exactly toddler-friendly. Enter these super soft, affordable and (most importantly) machine washable sets. I loved them so much, I got two!

☀️ Daytime: Perfect for seeing Santa at the mall with my son! When it warmed up, I ditched the coat. And thank goodness this set is easy to clean—PJ needed a chocolate lollipop before meeting the big guy, which meant mama got very sticky.

🌙 Night: Monochromatic looks make everything look more polished. Since my sweater set and skirt don’t match perfectly, I used a belt to break up the colors. Adding pearls and polka dots gave the look a festive, playful vibe for the holidays.
